This a really neat restaurant. The name gives a great description of the vibe inside. It’s rustic, interesting and clean. The waitresses were very nice and the service was excellent. My Homestead burger was quite good and the fries were excellent. My wife had the steak and eggs and it looked incredible. Unfortunately the hashbrowns were a soggy mess and the steak was mediocre at best. The prices are very fair, it’s a shame the steak and eggs was well below what you want…

Being a Texan, and far away from home…This place is one of the best restaurants for breakfast I’ve had north of the Red River…Steak and eggs…Cooked exact… Waitress even asked me to try it, to make sure it was cooked correctly… Unusual in a fast pace breakfast place…The coffee carafe, on the table…Not used to that from home…Just ask the harried, Texas wait people… …I can tell it’s a local favorite… Because on my second visit, there was a 30 minute wait…I tried to go a third time, however…I was very hungry, and I decided anything over 30 minutes was….Not going to happen…Very good restaurant…I highly recommend…I’ll be back

Salad bar is sparse. I got a chicken sandwich that was fantastic. My other half got tomato soup. It was chunky fresh tomatoes with milk. The milk was pink, but tasted like warm milk. To us, it was really unappetizing. Maybe that’s how some people like it though, sure wasn’t for us.

Decent food and a laid back atmosphere. Its not a 5 star establishment but it’s better than McDonald’s. Breakfast is our favorite. Never really had an issue with the breakfast. Service is hit or miss. Somedays excellent, and somedays really bad. Lots of turnover in the waitstaff. Noticed several have moved to other local establishments in the area.

Great place for breakfast. We went early in the morning and the place was nearly empty, which was great. I had the chicken fried steak, but the best ever but only 10.75 so I will definitely be back again. Service was promt and polite and the coffee was endless. If you are in a budget and care about quality then you must check this place out while in Minot.

Was sat almost immediately and given eater and coffee. Then we were immediately ignored for the next 30 minutes. Multiple wait staff passed by and got no acknowledgement. We left after receiving no service. Probably the worst service I’ve ever seen. Place also smelled like mold. 0/10 would not recommend

Could use some updating. We went for lunch on a Wednesday and there were maybe 5 tables being used, pretty slow. We both ordered the Club sandwich which was ok, bread not totally toasted all the way, lack of meat and lettuce was not crunchy. I had a salad which was good, the pickle spear on top surprised me (I hate pickles) and the other plate had fries which were ok.
