Walked in at 7:45 and it took 45 min with only one other patron. I ordered chicken and rice. Would not recommend based on service. I would have appreciated being told my order would take 30 min to prepare when i had young kids in the car waiting.

I’ve gone here a few times, the food is good when they care. I’ve gotten cold food with my hot food, which is HUGE concern with regard to bacterial growth on unrefrigerated, cooked, cooled down food. I’ve gotten small portions. But the biggest issue is how often they are closed when they’re supposed to be opened!! I placed an order online and went to pick it up and they are again closed!! Not for lunch, not for a break, just closed. I called twice, no answer, I called grubhub customer service and they called with no answer. My wife got a photo of the door. The place is completely dead no sign of life today. With it being so hit or miss, I recommend you go elsewhere.

Loved it! The pokè tasted fresh and delicious and they gave me a huge portion! The lumpia tasted home made. I’ll definitely be returning for more to try the famous Korean chicken.

First time coming and their food was exactly as I thought it would be, if not BETTER. I tried the Katsu Chicken plate, with a Pineapple Whip on the side and it was definitely drool worthy. I also enjoyed some of their yummy, and hella sugary, donuts, which again were too savory to put into words. Yummy, yummy food, with such a simple menu, but endless choices of really savory foods. Loved the inside and the hostess was very sweet! Shout out to the cooks in the back! Y’all. Did. That. I think the only things I didn’t enjoy was the fact they only sold water bottles and not refillable water cups and that their parking spots are conveniently parked right in front of the drive through line for the car wash. So it took me awhile to actually get out, because I parked right in front, but the cars behind wouldn’t let me back out. And on a Sunday, of course there were tons of people waiting on a car wash. Shout out to the awesome crew here! The musubis are just like home, and you HAVE to try the fried musubis. After leaving Hawaii over 20 years ago, getting some Homestyle Musubis is a little trip back to Manoa Valley for my brother and I. I live in Asia now and I wanted to do something special for him so I called them up and asked if they could build me a MUSUBI CAKE and deliver it to his house and it was everything I could have hoped for. Since I can never top this he will just be getting lame Hallmark cards and expired seasonal holiday chocolate for all future birthdays. Thank you Adel and Homestyle Hawaiian crew!! Mahalos
