I get takeout here almost every other week if not every week. I work night shifts and usually call in my order around 8-8:20 and pickup by 8:45 at the latest. Tonight when I called the lady on the phone had an attitude when I asked for a personal cheese pizza (literally the most basic thing you can get on the menu.) She replied as “um yeah if you can get here before 9 (closing time) I have never had a problem ordering at this time and am very disappointed considering they had 40 mins before closing. They have great pizza but customer service… not so much.

I called Hometown Pizza in Pontotoc, MS on 12/26/22 at 6:11 pm. The lady who took the call was very short and sounded as though she didn’t care about my business. Due to her lack of interest I decided to not order anything from this place and bought Pizza Hut, instead. My family and I love the taste of Hometown Pizza and are regular customers, but my experience with this call left a bad taste in my mouth. I decided to call back a few minutes later, to alert management of such poor customer service. To my surprise, the same lady who had taken my phone call previously, was the manager! I proceeded to urge her to change her attitude and be more welcoming with future calls.

Best pizza in Pontotoc. The cheese breadsticks are the best I’ve ever had anywhere. Great selection of deserts as well. I’ve had both delivery & take out. Never had a bad experience. Take out always ready when I got there & delivery is always faster than the predicted time. Friendly staff as well. Delivery drivers especially are always so friendly.

Placed an order for several pizzas yesterday afternoon, and scheduled it to be ready for 10:30am. Placed it online, so I called the store shortly thereafter and asked if they received the order. They said yes, and it would be ready on time at 10:30am. This morning when someone else went to pick it up, the store said the only order they had for 10:30am was not mine. They said mine was for 11:30am. Seems like a very uncoordinated place. First time ordering from here, and due to a poor experience, it’ll be the last time.

The WINGS are but the pizza is about a 7 out of 10. I had there chicken Buffalo pizza, however the pizza was not spicy enough for my taste. It tasted like a plain chicken & cheese pizza. I feel like they give you more crust than pizza but the crust is good. Overall it’s a pretty good spot. OH yeah… they have a pizza buffet! $9.99 all you can eat. Can’t beat it

Paid for extra dipping sauces. Got none. Didn’t even get the one that was supposed to come with the wings. Ordered a pepperoni pizza. Just got a cheese. They didn’t put any pepperoni on it. Asked for sauce on the side of wings. Was ignored. Kind of garbage. Hate paying for stuff I don’t even get

Didn’t even order and got someone else food delivered to my house… called about it and all they did was say sorry not fixing the issue or anything…. and with everything going on who wants someone else to get food they order and someone else gets it no one wants to take food that was given to someone else… fix it cause I’m sure they want new food
