Great place to get beer and fresh cooked food, and milk. While there are other items, it’s hit or miss, mostly miss. But their pride is the grill and they make good food. The owners are extremely nice as well.

Great little store. I love their fried chicken, coleslaw and potato logs. They need more parking space.

The best turkey and cheese sandwich.. i saw do many people waiting for the fried chicken. I asked a local family about it, ” Oh yes..the best”… Skip the Wawa and Royal Farms, take the scenic route eating and enjoying the food ftom Hometown Market in East New Market, Md. …. ps: support these local people in all hometowns, bring life back to rural America. John 10:10 more abundantly.

I have been stopping here for lunch on a weekly basis for about a year. I usually don’t have any issues. The issues I had today have completely changed that and there is no reason for me to go back. Courtney is very rude, very unprofessional, and has the attitude of someone that is unhappy with their job and the customers they serve. Whether or not she is having a bad day is no excuse to take it out on paying .customers. She took her time acknowledging I was there and then said I had no order. Then I had to wait another 20 minutes. While I waited i watched her prepare food with her hair down in the food, pace back and forth taking orders and complaining, answeirng phone before waiting on custers in front of her. One thing she didn’t do was wash her hand which should be done on a regular but especially during these times. Very disappointing for this place to lose business with someone like her there.

This is a great small town grocery store. They have plenty of parking but the front doors open onto the street instead of into the parking lot which makes it a little harder for the handicapped. The isles aren’t very wide which makes it kind of difficult at times to navigate. BUT for it’s size and location it has pretty much everything that the bigger stores have… and the folks there are always pleasant and eager to help. The store has that small town look and feel, and everyone always has a smile to share.

Everything a small town store should be. Friendly locals, great food and decently stocked shelves. The only downside is that they are so busy at lunch time, you’ll often be waiting a fair bit for your order. Worth it though 🙂

The Fried Chicken is almost like the Old English’s in Cambridge, Friendly Service and a Good Downhome Style Setting.
