Foods Are delicious and the prices are very reasonable. I only come here for takeout since it’s always busy here. Highly recommended! Give the waitress some slack since the restaurant is heavily understaffed.

What a gem. Everything is delicious and good portion. Visited in 2022 and wish to come back when I am in this area again.

This is one of the better authentic Chinese restaurant in Irvine, we love the food, service and environment. If you were looking for some down to the earth regular people authentic Chinese food, this is the place to go. Environment is surprisingly clean and quite consider they located in one of the “older” plaza.

The food here is excellent and it is always busy. We have been here multiple times, even in the middle of the day, in the middle of the week, and they are bumping. It is kind of funny that the 6 or so times we have eaten there and the 2 times we have ordered pickup, we are the only white people we see. The food is extremely flavourful and comes super quick. The staff always gives us a smile but are direct and do not chat much, I assume it’s a language barrier or cultural thing so that doesn’t bug us at all especially when balanced against the quality of the food.

I hate their service, very rude and no smiles at all. They ignore customers standing at door, give you check right after bringing all the dishes. More than that they have a very weird surveillance camera inside with flashing light shooting you all the time. The flashing light just reminds you that you’re on camera. I don’t give one star because their foods are not bad to be honest!

This is one of our favorite Chinese restaurants in the area. The dishes are all so good and the price is less than other places. Our favorites include the red braised beef noodles 红烧牛肉面, 家常豆腐 Homestyle Tofu,辣子鸡 Spicy Fried Chicken,炒年糕 Fried Rice Cakes, the spicy fish filet and tofu, 大饼 Sesame bread, and the Yuxiang Eggplant 鱼香茄子.There’s often a wait because it is so popular.

Consistently good quality of food. Friendly staff. I’ve been coming here all the time and have always been pleased. The taste is authentic home cooking and beats many pricier restaurants.

Great tasty food and very cheap. Taiwanese says it has mother’s taste. That describes what the food is like here. Makes me feel like eating at home! The dining area us limited. So when this full, it doesn’t feel a bit cramped. Services generally OK, although sometimes the staff could appear rude when it’s busy. But for the food, I will be back regularly.

I love the red braised pork here very authentic. The Yangzhou dishes are relatively mediocre compared with Shanghai style dishes.

Horrible service. When it got busy, the old Taiwanese lady came to take the tea cups and tea pot away without asking if we are still staying or not. She even tell me how much I need to pay the tips after I found a piece of plastic inside the lamb pot. I guess they r using the frozen package which is fine. But after I told her there’s a piece of plastic , I meant seriously there’s no compensation and same time want us to leave as soon as possible. Food is bit salty but service is the worst. No manners at all. Shame of being a Taiwanese!
