Quick seating at 5pm but pretty full soon after (Wednesday night)! Local beers on tap is nice. Specials are a pop-up rotating list that run about a week or so and a good selection of options on the regular menu. Server attentive and helpful on questions. Definitely will return.

BEST restaurant in Henderson, Ky! The cornbread is and the pork chop is too! Their sweet tea is amazing, honestly i haven’t had anything here I don’t like! The atmosphere is very modern and cozy. 20/10 recommend!!

Literally my favorite place that I’ve ever eaten at! From the service, to the food, to the drinks, to the atmosphere. It was all phenomenal and the staff and owners should be very proud of this restaurant. Me and my wife have decided it’s worth the 30-40 minute drive to go every date night we have!

Yesterday was my 1st time patronizing this establishment. I was excited to order the smoked meatloaf after learning this is their signature meal and most popular. It would have probably been very tasty had it not been overcooked & burnt on both sides resulting in a very DRY, tasteless meatloaf. I read reviews after tossing the meatloaf in the trash (order was to-go) and this seems to be a common complaint when reading the ‘lowest’ reviews. I would really like to try it again, but I would want to request they bring me a piece of meatloaf that isn’t overcooked & burned. Very disappointed.

The deviled egg appetizers were good and I don’t normally eat those. Our server was great. I ordered the fried shepherds pie. I would not recommend this dish. It literally had two bites of meat, and hardly any veggies. Basically all I ate was this fried breading and smashed potatoes.

Our first time the food was great. Regina our server did great job. She was attentive knew the menu very well. The jalapeños corn bread was excellent. My wife had the Roast Beef Manhattan. I had the Country Fried Steak dinner, with the casserole hash browns. Excellent, great atmosphere. Reasonable prices. All employees were friendly and the establishment was clean. We will be back

We enjoyed Roots and had good service. The chicken, catfish and hot browns were well received. However, the fried shepherds pie I had was subpar – all crust and potatoes, very little beef and vegetables (like 2 tablespoons!). Also, the cocktails were good but a bit pricey ($12). Two of us enjoyed the brown ale so we’ll stick to beer next time.
