Little Restaurant with BIG flavor: I can’t say enough good things about this Homewood gem. The food is fresh and so flavorful. I’m vegan/vegetarian and can always find something delicious to eat. The cherry on top is the owner and the team he’s assembled. Top notch staff.

I will say that the staff is incredibly friendly. I like that the salad I order was fresh and bright. I didn’t like that there wasn’t a menu that listed the ingredients in each dish. I like knowing what I’m ordering, and it’s easier to glance through a list than to turn back and forth to ask many questions; luckily, there wasn’t a line when I was there.

Chris, the owner, was amazing to work with! He helped me create a menu for my office’s Thanksgiving meal. He was easy to get a hold of, responsive, and kind. He even helped me unload everything when he delivered the food. The food was DELICIOUS! Everyone in my office was so excited!

I can’t recommend Homewood Gourmet catering services more highly! Chris catered my daughter’s wedding last Saturday and people were raving about the Chicken and Tasso Pasta, the Baby Blue Salad and the Baked Brie in Puffed Pastry. Chris really outdid himself. Presentation was beautiful, quantities were bountiful and the price was extremely reasonable. I may be a little biased because I’ve been using Homewood Gourmet for office catering functions for several years, but honestly all of the wedding guests were so impressed.

Had the shrimp po’ boy and gumbo. Both were excellent. They have a case near the cash register with take-out meals to prepare at home. I took the chicken and black bean enchiladas home for dinner and my friend loved it. I was a hero, at least for a couple of hours. I’m going back, probably this week, to sample other delectable items from that cooler to be prepared at home.

I’m crazy about Homewood Gourmet. I used to always order the shrimp po boy with a cup of gumbo, which is always fantastic, but lately I’ve been really into the chicken salad and baby bleu salad on the side. This cozy little lunch spot is always the place to go!

We hosted a corporate event (amidst COVID-19) and Homewood Gourmet was rated the best meal of our summit. Chris and his team did a fantastic job with catering our event – the food was fantastic and the Baby Blue salad was especially tasty. Very prompt and friendly service. Would definitely recommend them for any special event – I am looking forward to visiting the restaurant in person too!
