While here for the NAYO tourney we stopped here for our Mexican food fix lol. Definitely recommend. The chips were fresh, crispy and there is some seasoning on the table to sprinkle if you wish (try it) and the salsa was great & addicting.

I’ve eaten here many times since I first reviewed this place and have heard a lot about the tacos they. I tried the pork tacos this time and I was disappointed. The soft corn shells were great and probably what saved it because the pork lacked flavor and was quite dry. 3⭐️’s for the tacos and 5⭐️’s for the friendly and superb service.

This place used to be very good,but the quality has gone down so bad that the food we had was not eatable. The meat tasted bad on my burrito and the tacos were so soggy they couldn’t be picked up. I hope someone in charge their makes some changes, also the A/C needs repairing been broke since last year. Maria’s or Taco Bell is better than this place is!!!

I cannot recommend this place highly enough! Everyone was exceptionally nice, the food was great, and the prices were good. Our waitress was training, but she did a great job and it was touching to watch how kindly her trainer was to her. This will be one of our go to places when we’re in town. Do yourself a favor and EAT HERE! 🙂

Went here for lunch because it was the highest rated on Google and I wasn’t feeling the casino options. I’m glad I went, seems like a pretty popular spot (I think the whole parish went after church…) but food came quick and the fajitas were good.

Visited Mississippi for the 1st time and was suggested this spot by a Casino worker. Food was mediocre and not what I consider Mexican food by far. Decor is old and place is run down. Wait Staff is very polite and helpful.

Perfectly serviceable but not the best restaurant in town. Not even the best Mexican restaurant in town. The so-called happy plate had a bit too much salt for me. The decor was so so, I’ve seen better and I’ve seen worse but at least the waiter was nice. Was also much more expensive than anticipated for what we received. Perfectly all right experience but the next time I will go to my usual Mexican place.

Had the burrito California. It was described as a fully loaded, large burrito, with choice of grilled steak, chicken or shrimp. When it arrived, I was not impressed, but thought that looks could be deceiving, as it was VERY plain looking flour tortilla, with no topping at all ! (should have had queso on top, IMO) As I cut into it and took a bite, I immediately noticed that there wasn’t any sour cream, guacamole or salsa Verde. Also, the grilled steak was overcooked and burnt, as well as the bottom of the tortilla was scorched. Against my better judgement, I continued on, hoping to finally find some sour cream, guacamole and salsa Verde, but after eating half of it, still none to be found. I then told the waiter and he assured me that it would be some inside, but I told him after eating HALF the burrito, I found none. He then offered to bring me sides of SC, Guac and SV, which I then added and finished it off. Had I not been so hungry, I should have sent it back and ordered something else, as several other dishes, that others had ordered looked VERY good ! Overall, seemed like a nice place, but if you can’t do a fully loaded large burrito right, you gotta fix that, as that is a “go to” first order, when trying out a new Mexican restaurant, IMO ! Guess I should have ordered the mixed fajitas, as that looked VERY GOOD! The chips and salsa were VERY GOOD! Would love to go back and try the fajitas ! Was told that the Birria tacos were VERY GOOD.

This place was not good at all. One it took an hour before our waitress could even take our order. They then gave my food to another table and I had to wait for them to remake mine. We found a hair in our food and when checking out saw people smoking in the kitchen. I’m sorry but this is not a place I would recommend to anyone. Definitely will never ever come back.
