I love the Honest Special Grill sandwich! Wish I had a branch of this location nearby. Didn’t realize this place was specifically a vegetarian restaurant, my poor reading comprehension. But a very, very good sandwich! If I could eat here weekly, I would!

I recently visited and ordered for Mango Shake for take out for my kids.. It was o m g!! so yuckkk!!.. here’s how I can describe it,, there was no sign of mango flavour just sugar, milk, little bitter to taste I don’t know why and orange colour with some unknown flavor.. I STRONGLY THINK THAT THEY SHOULD CHECK THE QUALITY OF THE MANGO ICE CREAM BEFORE PREPARING THE ORDER FOR MILKSHAKE or SHOULD AT LEAST LET THE CUSTOMER KNOW IF THAT’S OUT OF STOCK.. It was extremely inconvenient for me caused by them like to visit the place again, to explain them and exchange with another one on a rainy day with kids left home alone.

Food was very good, you feel like home country punjabi food. We ordered Kaju Curry and Cheese Butter Masala both curries were very delicious but I think the price are some what high as they charge approx. $18 for curry ane $6 for naan which are very high compared to other restaurants. And also they charge gratuity of 15% for 4 or more people which makes more costly I prefer take out for next time unless dine in is required.

Honest is our go to place in Jersey City. This time we were close to Parsippany so decided to visit this one. The food was good as usual. They did not have punjabi thali which was a bummer as I really like it. Also this location does not have South Indian dishes. If you are not one for spicy food ask them to make is less spicy specially for chana puri

Place was clean. Staff was nice. Food was ok. Everything is served on paper plates or to go containers. I had paneer tikka masala, samosa’s and garlic naan. The Samosas were a bit oily. The tikka masala did not come with rice. Rice is extra 3.99. Food came out quick. However, to get service after that was slow. I had to track the waiter down to pay.

Ordered Veg fried rice, gobi manchurian dry and gravy to go. The order was ready in time of my arrival and was made as requested. Kids and wife loved the food. Manchurian was actually made of Cauliflower unlike the typical cabbage fried balls (experienced many restaurants using cabbage fried balls and calling them Gobi). Food was super tasty, fresh, well presented and packed. I would definitely recommend this place and will for sure order next time around as well.
