Originally based out of Ahmedabad (Gujarat, India), we have completed our journey of over four decades since 1975. Our passion is to offer daily fresh food using high-quality ingredients. All our food is prepared from scratch daily and dishes are cooked to order. We refrain from using any food colors or artificial flavors.

We order Bhaji pav with extra pav and Bhakhri pizza. Got the Bhaji which was not even hot. Barely warm.. like a kid can eat right away. We let it go and stared eating. The pavs were not even toasted properly so we asked them to re-do. After 10 min or so the bhakhri pizza came and that to with zero cheese. Just the bhakhri,sauce and veggie. So i took the plate and asked them to add some cheese on the pizza. The guy just dumps all cheese in center and gives it to me so i asked them to re-do them. Now the new pizza comes to our counter (which is size of puri and some cheese and again barley warm ) we all had no patience to get it done 3rd time so inform the staff to let the manager know and we just left. This was our 3rd visit and had issue every time we went there but we we’re letting it go bze we love honest but today topped everything. Never coming back again.

Amazing vegetarian restaurant in Buckeystown, offers nice varieties of Indian fast food with authentic Indian taste. Specious interiors and all white lighting makes it a cool ambience to enjoy your food. Very polite and friendly staff makes sure that as a customer you have a great experience! Nice vegetarian restaurant if you are craving Indian street food. We tried papi Chaat, chole bhature, Punjabi thali, loaded fries and Mysore plain dosa. Punjabi thali was just ok. Some dishes like one with paneer was not that great. Also loaded fries is only loaded with cheese which is also not melted over fries. Remaining dishes were good and quantity was more than expected. Ample seating inside and parking available. Only drawback for me is that it is in Frederick which makes it a long drive. Other than that would definitely try going back again to try other things from the menu.

So glad to have a veggie restaurant in Frederick! Went with friends and tried a few different items. Menu has a lot of choices…something for everyone here! Food is good but not consistent in taste…had takeout from here before and the medhu vada and sambar were so amazing…this time for dine in the medhu vada was doughy and the sambar waterish and no drumsticks (murunga)to be found. The masala dosa was ok, have had better. Kids liked the cheese dosa. The chili onion uttappam lacked salt…the rava dosa was ok. Best item we all liked was the Bahubali sandwich…generous portion that comes with a side of spiced fries and tasted so good! We will be going back to try some other stuff on the menu.

Good place for Indo-Chinese food options. We ordered Hakka noodles, veg Manchurian, hot and sour soup, Kattappa sandwich. Everything looked and tasted great. It is a self serve restaurant and after ordering on the counter the dishes are served at the table. Only issue was the portion size being small. The ambience was good. Must visit.

3 star Experience based on Indo Chinese I ordered, schezwan fried rice and vegetable Manchurian with gravy. Vegetables were not fully cooked, and gravy was ok, we ordered Vada pav, which was a little better but yet to try their Pav Bhaji, which they are famous for. Service was friendly and quick.

I was eagerly anticipating the opening day of Honest Indian Restaurant and was excited to try their food. Unfortunately, my experience was a mixed bag. The Chole Bhature dish was a standout, with its well-balanced spices and delicious flavors. However, the idly was a major disappointment, as it was solid as rock and not fluffy like I expected. The cheese Masala Pav looked promising, but it was extremely soggy and lacked flavor, so I had to send it back. The Faluda was decent, but not worth the high $12 price tag. The Mysore Masala Dosa was good but the chutneys were off. In conclusion, my experience at Honest Indian Restaurant on their opening day was average, with some hits and some misses.

Wow! What an incredible spot to eat truly authentic Indian street food here in Frederick. I went here with my family for the first time tonight and we all absolutely loved it. The staff was so helpful with telling us what to order, service was quick, restaurant was lovely and clean, and the experience was fantastic. I will add this to my quiver of great Frederick restaurants. Can’t wait to come back!

I visited Honest Fredrick location because I have had good experience with the other location in Elicott City. In terms of food, the taste is mediocre. We tried biryani , Pav Bhaji and few others. Biryani was the worst of all. The portion size is small for all entrees. This place charge 20 % service charge regardless of party size which they do not mention anywhere except for the bill. I bought a chocolate shake separately which turned out to be more than $10 and that is when I realized that there is 20% service charge on all orders. Overall, mediocre taste, small portion, very expensive and service charge with no service. Very disappointing.
