This is the best Chinese food in Ascension Parish. Trust me I’ve tried them all. Always hot and always fresh. I V is freaking crazy and probably smoking dope. Lay off the meth I V! Great fast service and an awesome hidden gem. When I order Chinese food it will be from here. Never had a bad experience even when they’re packed. If you’re looking for some good Chinese food this is your place.

The hostess told us it was closed which they still had another hour before they closed. The owner said yes they are opened. But then hostess wanted us to sit at a table and had an attitude about it. We wanted the sushi bar. So we left before the owner could say anything. Very disappointed if you don’t like your job or the hours go work somewhere else.

Horrible experience, I’m always looking to try new Chinese places. I went to Hong Kong! Omg the food was awful. Great service, but my chicken was over cooked, basically burnt and hard. I had mandarin chicken, which usually comes with a very tastefu and flavorful brown gravy. Hong Kong gravy was very sweet and that’s very unusual for a brown a gravy. I do not recommend this place to anyone. China Star is way better.
