After searching in this area for about 2 yrs, we were excited to find this place about 2yrs ago and would have given this place a 4star. Tonight changed all of that, I thought there was a piece of tough meat within my wonton noodle (soup). As I worked it out of my mouth, I realized it wasnt what I thought it was, it was actually a piece of steel wool. It was about an inch long. Needless to say, I didn’t finish my soup. Just wanted to raise awareness, be careful.

Decided to give this place a try. This is my first time ordering from this establishment and it will definitely be the last time with no recommendations to people I know. This has got to be the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten. The gravy tasted like the smell of mold. Rice in the shrimp fried rice was really old. Shrimp egg foo young patties were smaller than I am used to. I am willing to travel the distance to my regular Chinese food restaurant from now on. As I am writing this I am starting to have gastric issues

I’m a finicky eater. My food has to be super fresh always. This place met my expectations and beyond. I eat here 2 to 3 times a week. I’ve tried just about every Chinese food restaurant in Delaware and New Hong Kong is hands down the absolute best. They’re chicken wings are always made fresh.

This place is a hidden gem. Their food is delicious and their prices are unbelievable. The decor in the restaurant is nothing amazing, but it is clean and lovingly maintained. I love the awards for their children over the years that hang near the take-out counter. This is clearly a family run business, and they do an outstanding job. Food is fresh, delicious, and I have never had an issue or problem. The strip mall they are in is super weird and definitely a little on the seedy side, but they are a great spot for take-out Chinese. You cannot go wrong!!
