I come here every Tuesday for the $3.99 bowl special. I love the Jalapeño chicken and either one of the rice noodles or chow mein. Both are really good. The food taste fresh and not all greasy. The food also doesn’t have that weird old water taste like most Chinese food places have. Also I highly recommend the taro. Overall Chinese food in this area to say the least

This place is gross. The chow mein taste like spaghetti noodles with soy sauce and the orange chicken was just underwhelming. Anything is better then this place. The 5 star reviews are probably from locals with no real taste buds lol stop kidding yourselfs this is not 5 star worthy $39.96 for 2 plates and 1 bowl a can soda and water. Rip off

Some food was good others not so much. Orange chicken was great and fresh. The fried rice was bland and the egg rolls were cold in the middle.

David, the counter boy, is very nice. He provided the best service I’ve ever had in my 34 years of living. He asked me about my child, and offered me some water. The food was fresh just like the counter boy. His parents are such saints. Please visit this establishment right now!!!

Good food, but the increasing prices make it debatable to come back to. Still very good

I had a taste for some shrimp fried rice, that’s why I stop at Hong Kong Express. First time here, there was a little line but the service was quick. I ordered fried rice, vegetables and orange chicken. The food was very good and I will be visiting again.

Most Chinese takeouts are a three-star establishments, and this is no exception. I’ve had my share of Chinese American takeout over the years and only a select few got a four-star, and only one or two ever got five. Food sits under heat lamps here so I recommend going there between 11:45 am and 12:45 p.m. I went in at around 12:30 so what I saw was perhaps the best they can do. Now to the description of my experience. This place is inexpensive like most of them, but portion sizes are below average. No water was offered. The chicken Kung Pao had too much breading and mostly onion, celery with one solitary piece of bell pepper. Okay I understand that peppers are more expensive, but I wish that instead of cutting corners this way they would charge an extra dollar and make a more balanced dish. There was only one long dry chili and no peanuts in the dish. Their chow mien and fried rice were flavorless. They also charge a $0.50 to use your credit card on top of everything else We’ll have to continue to go to Young’s Gourmet.

The entire time we were there, there were people in the kitchen yelling at each other. Not a deal-breaker, but it didn’t make for a welcoming experience. Once we got home with our food…The orange chicken tasted like fish (not even orange flavored fish, just fish.) We also tried the sesame balls and they definitely had been left under the lamps too long…the inside was rubber and the bread was tough. My husband said the teriyaki chicken was good, but I unfortunately doubled down on the orange fish. First and last time for us.
