SO friendly and did not rush me on the phone while ordering and making modifications to meals. Delivery driver was so energetic and sweet! I gave only 4 star because the pepper steak I ordered tasted off. Too sweet and also too salty…kinda rancid tasting. And the fried rice was nothing but rice no veggies no egg..no veggies..not used to that lol. Flavor was good though! Disappointing but everything else was AMAZINGGG. It’s hard to find good general Tso, there’s was perfect! Will DEFINITELY be returning and telling people about this place!!

I ordered Beef Lo Mein lunch combination. The lo mein had a wonderful flavor. However, after picking out the onions, cabbage and bean sprouts there wasn’t much noodles. Very large pieces of beef that were chewy and mushy, and barely any noodles. That was disappointing. Really good price as well for the lunch portions, but I wanted the noodles not veggies.

This is NOT your typical chinese takeout, and i dont mean that in a good way either. Their fried rice is just brown colored rice. Its very dry and flavor-less. I ordered spare rib tips and what i received are legally NOT rib tips. These were small chops that were over-cooked and bathed in red colored oil. Their egg rolls are over cooked and taste like the frying pan, and dont even get me started on the steamed dumplings! I will NOT be ordering from them again and i suggest who ever is reading this to keep looking.

This is my third time ordering from Hong Kong House. They are by far the best Chinese food I’ve had since moving to Virginia. Although, I typically only order crab ragoons (didn’t order tonight) & General Tso chicken, I’m sure everything is good on the menu. The service is always quick, staff is kind, the food itself is full of flavor, and always fresh. I highly recommend this little gem, you will not be disappointed.

Alot of these reviews are older and they must have new cook now. To me a good way to judge a Chinese restaurant is taste the fried rice. If they cant make good fried rice then odds are they cant make good food. Like others have said recently the fried rice is awful. This is the worst fried rice I have ever tried. It’s dark and tastes like the smell of an ashtray. The egg roll tasted old and bland. The generals chicken tasted old and bland. Positives are the chicken wings are massive and tasted ok and the delivery was fast but it was a Monday afternoon. Won’t be ordering from here again

They have the best fried rice in the 757! I’ve been coming here for years and they never disappoint! I ordered chicken and shrimp fried rice. REAL chicken breast chunks and juicy medium shrimp! I also had orange chicken and beef lumpia. Homemade orange sauce and the lumpia roll is large and tasty. They will keep getting my business!

They used to be so good. Hence their prices being more. I ordered from them 30 minutes before closing time. I sat outside the whole time. Only took about 15 minutes so they had 15 minutes left before shutting down. I should have known what was about to happen when everyone started leaving when I got my food. They probably would have left sooner. Anyways, all of my food tasted like old cooking oil. Barf.
