This is exactly what you’d expect from a good, neighborhood Chinese food place. They still have the kitchen area quarantined off, but the small seating space is nice. The food came out quickly and exceeded my expectations. Sweet and sour sauce is different than I’m used to, but everything else was perfect.

There’s two restaurants in Cary called Hong Kong, I accidently ordered from the other restaurant and got my orders mixed up. It was tough to communicate, they don’t speak good English, but the food is good and they don’t accept major credit cards like Discover. It’s better Chinese food then most. It was tough to order food because of the language barrier and i got overcharged because somehow i got an extra dish even though I only asked for two. Someone said the son speaks fluent English but works in the evening only.

On Saturday 10/08/2022, I called in an order for Curry Chicken and a small Hot and Sour Soup. I picked it up and happily drove back to enjoy my meal. My shock when i found nothing but onions, a few green peas and maybe 10% chicken. I was livid but it wasn’t worth making the nearly 30 min drive in traffic. So i quietly enjoyed my soup and onions. Never again. If you’re gonna buy here, make sure you check your food before you leave.

I went here numerous times when I lived in the area. I moved to Raleigh and work in Cary, so I can again eat here. I ordered Sesame Chicken and fried rice almost $17. The Chicken was over cooked, salty, and was nothing but breading. Horrible
