I love the chicken katsu and the seafood plate. They are very tasty and crispy. This is one of the best Hawaiian food I have tasted so far. The price seems fair to me. I will come back to get more.

Not good. Ordered via Uber Eats and I’m not sure what the deal is- the BBQ plate tastes like absolutely nothing and like others before me was ALL fat and bone (no meat at all), the bamboo soup is very flavorless and bamboo itself is very sour and honestly not good.

Ordered a tray of Katsu musubi for a party. At first my order time was too early but they gracefully accommodated me. Then when I picked up the order, because they didn’t want to waste the edges they had cut off the chicken katsu, she saved them for me and gave them to me (so tasty!!). 10/10 would come here again for that alone.

Service was quick but the food has changed a lot. I haven’t been here in a couple years so I’m not sure if there was a change in ownership. I ordered the BBQ Mix plate. The meat looked well seasoned but needed salt or something like lemon in the marinade….the Mac salad also need salt. Just flavorless over all. It wasn’t terrible but it wasn’t great.

I have to give credit where credit is due. They get it right. The pork was tender and sweet, flavorful and moist. The chicken katsu was good as was the BBQ chicken, however it was only well made, there was no real BBQ sauce to send it over the top.
