Our Honto experience has always been great over the last 5 years. Again tonight, (Friday), as usual I called in our order and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. It was handed to me as walked in and paid. I got back to the house (within 10 minutes) and our Chicken and Chinese vegetables were excellent – and piping hot – as usual. The meats and vegetables are always fresh, and I have to say that their bean sprouts are the best! Never tasted better. Keep up the good work Honto.

We LOVE this place! It’s great to have authentic Chinese food in the area. The beef and broccoli PERFECT and soooo good. Ditto on the chicken with vegetables and great flavor. . Crab rangoon crispy light and delicious little “stars”. We love Mu Shu- they don’t always have it, but the pork Mu Shu was very good. OH! Almost forgot the hot sour soup!!! Always order extra because it’s fabulous (PERFECT FLAVORING AND SMOOTH) and good to have as “leftovers” the next day also!! All very fresh veggies, tender meat, good cuts of meat, We have eaten at many Chinese places- this place is small but just wonderful! And NOT greasy like so many restaurants.

There isn’t indoor dining. They need to update their page. We drive all the way there. No public restrooms. Wasn’t afforded the opportunity to try the food. Smells good, but what are they hiding that you can’t go past the front and there is a divider blocking all access to dining area.

I’m so sick of this place the service is ridiculous. Everytime I order from there their is always something wrong with my order. First time my chicken was not all the way cooked. Second time I asked for white rice and they give me fried rice. Then I go to call and tell them they messed up. Instead of solving my problem she wants to argue with me and tell me that I didn’t say white I said fried. I spend way to much money to have these many problem ..it says 4.1 I have no idea how.

I will edit this once I get my food and eat it. But for now I’m doing 2 stars already because I did not like the service so far. All I did was call in for a carry out order and she sounded so rude and impatient with me. There was no friendliness at all and it seemed like she couldn’t wait to get off the phone with me. I know restaurant business is stressful but people are customers, maybe try and approach it that way? Again, I’ll edit this when I get my food.

I’ve been to a lot of Chinese restaurants serving American Chinese foods, and I am 99% certain that Honto makes the best General Tso’s Chicken. Their other dishes are also great, e.g. Mongolian Beef, Garlic Sauce Chicken, Egg Foo Young, Pepper Steak, etc.) The chef is Cantonese which I think is why these dishes are done differently and better compared to those at the other places I’ve been to. 10/10 recommend.
