I first checked out this place last year after they opened up. I’ve enjoyed every time I went. Each bowl was fresh and filled to the brim, sometimes letting me enjoy it as two meals instead of one. Highly recommend the salmon lovers or creating your own bowl and getting the spicy salmon & spicy tuna. While the photos may not do it justice, the ingredients were always fresh and the owners are also super polite

We were on the way to visit a friend in Batavia and somehow found this place accidentally on the way there. The food was fresh and yummy. We ordered the jumbo size and that filled us up. I’d like to try regular size next time. This is one of my favorite poke places to go now. The only down size was that many tables were not cleaned on time. We were the only one dine in at that time. Other than that, I highly recommend the food.

This is by far the best poke place in and around aurora Illinois that I’ve found. I haven’t been to many but once we found this one we haven’t wanted to try any where else.. the jumbo is definitely jumbo, basically 2 meals but it’s so good I accept the challenge and eat it in one.. so much better for you then so many other restaurants. Fresh ingredients so far, going to get lunch there today 8-12-23

I have ordered from Honu Poke at least once a week since they opened. I eat at a lot of the sushi restaurants in the area. And their fish is the best. The owner and employees are friendly and knowledgeable. They have become my go to for when I have to have some salmon. I can not recommend Honu Poke enough.

This Poke restaurant is the best around!!! They are privately owned and are far better than the chain poke restaurants. Their pokie is exceptional!!!! The Mochi is a great dessert compliment! You can’t go wrong and will be hooked in no time!!

I have come here 5 times and have never had a bad experience. The owner is wonderful, the food is splendid, and the environment is charming. Highly recommend, and if you come, you have to try the mochi for dessert! Best poke ever!
