I got welcomed to the hood and was not disappointed. This food blew my mind after eating here yesterday. I got the chicken dinner and my friend got the salmon but next time I’ll be going back for the steak. This food was to damn good to not go back. I’ll make the trip from the suburbs here any day of the week. Customer service was through the roof as well, even when their system was down they still took our order through cash app and just have the best attitudes I’ve ever seen on a food truck or restaurant! Don’t you dare forget the butter, kool-aid or the yum-yum sauce because the combo just adds to the experience!

So after seeing all the reviews on IG about this place my girls and I had to check ot out. We were not disappointed at all. It was so good. We got two combos. One chicken and shrimp and then one steak, chicken and shrimp. That was enough food for like four people. Buy it was soooo good. We got garlic butter sauce. But we definitely will be going back to try the salmon and the yum yum sauce. 10/10 for me. I couldn’t really rate the atmosphere because It didn’t really have one. But the customer service was good.

We had to see what the hype was all about, so we tried it today. We arrived at 12:05p (hours of operation are 12p-8p) and were told they would be open at 12:30 They already had a line of cars waiting for them to open, which excited me. I ordered the Boss Bachi (see menu), and my spouse ordered the Hood Bachi trio, and we added 2 yum yum sauces, which are sold separately for $1 each. There were about 6 orders before us, so we were told 40 minutes At the 40-minute mark (and after seeing ALL of the orders before mine were called, I went up to the truck. I over hear that they don’t have lobster (someone attempted to order it), and I think maybe they ran out AFTER my order. I inquired, and I’m told they don’t have lobster So the cook looks at me (THE SAME GUY THAT TOOK MY ORDER) and says that he’s going to put “extra” of the other meats in 90 minutes later (and about 5 people AFTER ME getting their food) we get our food and head home. Yes, the food was super hot, well seasoned, well portioned, and tasty. However, communication and time inaccuracy make this a one and done for me✌

My first time coming to Hoodbachi I knew it was going to be good due to a line down the block as soon as they opened. Once I got past the line and to the window they were very kind and made sure that I knew the entire menu before ordering. The wait was maybe 30-45 minutes but that was cool because that’s the wait time to even sit down at Benihana’s. The food was amazing and definitely blew my mind based on what I was expecting. The food was fresh off the grill, steaming smelling delicious. I’ll definitely be back to support because I love the ambience and scenery! They are doing a great job keep going fellas!

This was my first time and I can definitely say last time eating here. I walked to my car checking the order one of the meals were missing had to wait another 10 minutes.The original wait was 45 minutes and the food was average I noticed each shrimp was cut in half in my meal. My husband’s meal had literally 5 bite size pieces of steak and for both orders I paid $45.I’ll definitely go to a Restaurant the next time I want hibachi.The rice seemed average not much seasoning. The inside of the building I was stopped at the door while trying to look at the amazing art work I heard was on the walls.

We heard about @hoodbachigrill from a TikTok and knew we needed to give this a try! We headed down to Detroit and as we were driving up to the spot we could smell something good was cooking. We were greeted by the friendliest chefs in the food truck, who truly make everything to order and fresh. They have a small outdoor space with a few picnic tables and a fireplace where customers can wait for their food and either eat there or take it to go! Everyone from the chefs to the customers were smiling- it was good vibes all around! We ordered the Filet mignon and chicken combo and filet mignon and shrimp combo and OMG!!! First the shrimp was HUGE and the steak was tender and had nice grill marks. The chicken was juicy, the veggies were perfectly sautéed and had a nice crisp to them, the rice was cooked with garlic butter and we topped it with yum yum sauce 10/10 could not recommend this place more- great people and great food! We will be back!

It was a 30 minute wait. But I was absolutely worth all the 30 minutes we waited. It was finger licking good! The seasoning was perfect! It was pricey, but it doesn’t matter I will be back. I have told co-workers about this food truck and recommend it to others. It was my first time ordering and eating there and I was thoroughly impressed. It was also filling. The guys were very polite and nice. I recommend this truck travel to the East side of Detroit as well (hint-hint) I took 1 star just because the parking wasn’t great

My brother been stalking them on instagram for months. Waiting for them to get back and town. It was good but not worth the anticipation. Portion was small for $25. You get more at the restaurant but I always want to support black businesses so I’m not knocking them. We will pay whatever someone else wants us to pay, only when it comes to our own it’s a problem. So I don’t have an issue with the price. Just need more rice and veggies. lol I think I will go back in the early part of the day. Towards the end of the day they are mostly out of things (like garlic butter) which is understandable. I’ll give it another shot for a chance to alter my review
