This place is 100/100. The dishes were phenom. Had a watermelon gazpacho and white truffle fettuccine. Kyle the bartender kept the vibes high and recommended a great array of local beers. Came solo to chill at the bar and met great people while in town. Def recommend. 🙂

Hoof’s is a great choice for upscale but local Westerly dining. Although not presented as an Italian restaurant, that smash it out of the park with all the basics. Meatballs are the best! From Boston to New York you will not find a better meatball. Their pasta in fresh hand made. The chef pairs the perfect Hand tossed pasta unique to each dish. The chicken and veal parm are a balance of crispy and juicy. Not too thick nor too thin. Chicken Marsala and piccata are classic and velvet sauce. They serve a unique red pepper hummus with bread as a welcoming treat. The tables and floors are immaculate and shows great efforts go into presentation here. The seafood is local and fresh the scallops seared perfectly. I had the watermelon salad and topped with the scallops. Great summer choice. They allow you to add on to any order and don’t leave without trying the meatballs even as a side dish. The staff is friendly and family works and owns here. You do need reservations so call ahead or use the Resy app.

Calamari was chewy and not crispy. Linguini and clams had no flavor and too much water. Needed garlic and parsley or something. Waiter messed up on my moms order twice and did not even give her a discount. We all finished our food before she got hers and it was her birthday. Says it’s homemade pasta but tastes and looks like barilla or ronzoni. I make my own pasta and can tell the difference. Overall, very disappointed with our experience.

Service was excellent at our table! The bar was a little busy so it took us a little time to get our drinks prior to getting seated, but on a Friday night it’s great that the place was so full!!! The food was absolutely delicious and our server/waitress was so awesome. I have a gluten allergy and she was very knowledgeable about what I could or could not have and did not make me feel like a weirdo for asking. She was sweet and attentive, and the food was incredible. I got the special which was remarkable! Scallops over a short rib truffle risotto with asparagus; it was INSANELY TASTY! We will definitely be going back for another date night. Highly recommend!

The food at this place was amazing! It’s a little far outside of where I would normally go, but we were getting pictures taken in the area, and we were looking for dinner. Delicious, as did the cocktails. I ended up having a truffle alfredo and my fiance had a bolognese and it was to die for. I wish this place wasn’t an hour away from my house, otherwise we’d be back more often.

First time eating at Hoof‘s, absolutely delicious and worth every bite!!! The restaurant is located in downtown Pawcatuck,next to the railroad bridge. It is within walking distance to downtown Westerly. We had dinner reservations at 6 o’clock, that I made through Open Table. We arrived and were seated promptly. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. My friends and I started with a Waldorf salad(special), which we split and delicious cocktails. The Watermelon martini, as so yummy and so refreshing. We each ordered an entrée and then shared the most delicious triple chocolate cake to celebrate two of our birthday’s. The Seared scallop over lobster risotto(special) was cooked perfectly. The Chicken Francese was cooked perfectly as well. The spinach, artichoke and sun dried tomato over the chicken was so good. I cannot wait to go back again for dinner.

My boyfriend and I went for dinner on a Wednesday. From the second we entered the restaurant everyone was so kind to us. Our waiter Kyle was so helpful and personable. We got the eggplant as an appetizer and it was very tasty. My boyfriend and I both got specials that day, which were very tasty. They also provided bread with this amazing red pepper hummus. Overall, it was a great experience and I look forward to visiting again!
