I ordered fish and liver. I have no idea what kind of fish it was but it was in need of hot sauce to give it flavor. The proprietor/cook/server/counterman worked in all these capacities and handled them well. I was quite impressed. The area needed cleaning but the restaurant itself was okay but I don’t think it was meant as an eat-in facility.

Great place to get your fried fix of hard-to-find victuals. Love that they have fried gizzards and chicken livers, oysters, fish…pretty much anything that can be battered and fried, they’ve got. Portion sizes make for a great value. The service is always friendly and efficient. Location could use some updating and freshening up, but overall, it’s a solid place to indulge in fried goodness.

I enjoyed every bit of this platter 3 days and still didn’t finish. My only complaint they didn’t season the fish, and only received one hot sauce. There may be a wait,they cook to order so your food is fresh! I don’t like having to pay 3.5% for using a debit card,so I’ll have cash when I return. Definitely going back! That is my reason for the two four stars!

Great food and would love to give 5 stars but my reviews are always honest and based on the total experience not just the food.i ordered the 20pc shrimp special and a side of mushrooms. The food was great across the board. I see some complaints about too much salt but guys that’s not salt. That is a seasoning blend that’s a lil salty and sweet at the same time but it’s very visible because that shake it on after cooking so you see it. It’s delicious and I want a bottle of it to take home. If you think this food is bland or over salted I just worry about you. Now that being said let’s talk about the elephant in the room. Cleanliness. I can’t speak for the kitchen area bc I wasn’t invited back there and you weren’t neither but the outside is in bad shape as is the front counter areas. To the management.. you have a great little place here.. Cleanliness is what people see first so fix it. Repainting would help. I gave only 4 stars bc of the state of the visible areas inside and out. Should be a rave 5 star review. Fix the problems and it will be.. the food… don’t you dare change a damn thing.

Seafood entrees we’re very good — moist, tasty, and expertly cooked showing real knowhow. It only emphasizes the shortcomings of the fries. There is a very generously large helping of fries that are crinkle-cut but are bland and neither moist nor crisp — good bulk but dry. Seafood disappeared first and fries quickly hit the waste bin. The fish and kindness of the 2-màn-crew are more than worth a repeat visit to exchange fries for something else — have a huge menu with great choices — as well as chicken. On balance, a good experience. There is a busy drive through — no dine in set up. Must ask for utensils//sauce//ketchup//salt//napkins. Excellently cooked seafood is well worth the trip and at a good price.

Order the family 6 meats platter and the food was very salty and the meat was half done and food was cooked in old nasty cooking oil, ordered shrimp, fish, chicken, oysters, gizzard and scallops, then tried to call to complain about the food no one would answer the phone, left a voice-mail and still my call hasn’t been returned, actually I want a refund or my order to cooked over I paid $47 for this food so please give me a call so that this can be resolved.
