The kitchen closes at 9:30!!! So buyer beware of this if you’re ordering the all you can eat. We just got scammed out of $90. We arrived around 8ish but was never told the kitchen closed at 9:30 so my boyfriend and I didn’t get to order a 2nd round which was a complete rip off. We went on a Thursday night and the place was completely empty, as I sat there I began to understand why. The music selection was horrible, the lights too dim, and the atmosphere was dry. The waitress however was awesome. She did the best she could with the circumstances. The food was pretty bland to me, outside of the waitress this place deserves 1 star.

Went there for the first time this week and Oh. My. Gosh. The food was SO good and flavorful. We got 3 boils, a Cod, Crab cakes, and chicken tenders along with too many appetizers. The food was absolutely perfect, full of spices (not heat unless you want heat) and the seafood was fresh. It’s going to become our regular spot!

Really good food with a nice waitress. We went on a Monday around 6 and it was pretty much empty in there so we didn’t have to deal with a crowd or wait. Food was fresh and flavorful.

I’ve been to this location a few times now. The food is always good; Louisiana style. I like their hush puppies and cat fish po boys, however, it all looks delicious. Their special blend sauce taste wonderful too. The staff is just as good as the food. Always pleasant, and very attentive. The prices are all pretty reasonable across the board.

Came in for a table for 2 and had to wait 5mins for a table to be made (majority of the tables were empty.) When we were finally seated we waited almost 30mins for someone to come over and take a drink order. We told the waitress that we would order everything (food & drinks) at one time and she calls to someone else and walks away. The person she called for never came to take our order and now it’s 9:05pm, we got there at 8:40 pm. The place was not busy enough for our order to not be taken and we weren’t the only tables waiting for not even a set of utensils on the table. Very bad experience.

So today I’ve decided to taste HOOK&REEL for the very first time . I didn’t wanna sit in so I ordered take out . It smelled so good I couldn’t wait to get home and taste what I was smelling .Now let me explain to you all ️I was not pleased at all . I only had a taste for some corn on the cob (3) & some eggs. I really been craving for the sauce (HOOK&REEL BLEND) it wasn’t giving me that (Maryland) seafood taste or the fiery blazing hot I wanted. I have expected something different & more tasty. I’m very disappointed. Unfortunately I will not come back to this establishment. I guess I’ll be back at my original seafood boil places.
