Only two people were working when we arrived. The bartender seated us. All of the booths were dirty so they put us @ this low & uncomfortable table. It’s too dark inside. Our waitresses or server wasn’t pleasant @ all. The bartender understood the assignment. Probably won’t go back.

My wife and I just left. I will say the food was good however, when the bus people came out to clean a table, they literally rolled a trash can out to clear the table off. I found that very distasteful. Our server wasn’t very good either. It was apparent that her focus was on a larger table and we practically beg for service. We ordered all you can eat crab legs potato and shrimp. We had to ask for crackers to crack the crab legs and ask for silverware of which all we received was a plastic fork. If I’m going to spend this kind of money, I expect better service and actual silverware and wipes, not gloves. This was our first and last visit to hook and reel

BEWARE!!! Do Not Go Here for food. It seems like they boil the seafood and corn like 2 weeks before they serve it to you. The seafood was rubbery and the corn mushy. Worst experience ever. But the server was nice.

This was our first visit to this establishment, we were very pleased with our visit today. It was not very busy and we had no wait to be seated for a table. Our server Jaida was EXCELLENT, she was very accommodating and made excellent recommendations since it was our first visit. The restaurant was exceptionally clean and the prices were very reasonable for the portions that are served. We ordered a Cajun Boil w/Crawfish, Black Mussels and Heads off Shrimp (corn and potatoes) and a Combo Boil of Heads off Shrimp and Scallops (corn and potatoes) with the addition of noodles to this dish with a small upcharge. The food was served in a timely manner and was hot, fresh and delicious, I found the addition of noodles to my dish a wonderful treat to utilize all the yummy extra sauce that the food was prepared with. We both chose the Hook & Reel Signature Seasoning Medium Spicy, the flavors incorporated were amazing! All the food was cooked to perfection, not soggy, rubbery or bland. The manager stopped at our table to check on us which we found incredibly impressive and Jaida never let our beverages run dry and provided extra napkins and condiments as we needed them. I have attached pictures of our meals, the restaurant is very dimly lit, so I have pictures with and without flash so you can get a true appreciation for the flavors and textures of this meal. This is a true “hands on” eating experience, they graciously provide gloves and a snazzy bib to catch a the extra bits from getting your top messy. They have a hand sink located at the rear of the establishment to wash up after your meal as well. We had a wonderful experience and we will be returning in the future!

I’ve visited here twice while traveling for work this summer. Both times, the food was great, about what you’d expect for a Cajun boil restaurant. But the staff… I know it’s hard to find good help. But if they don’t want to be there, then get rid of them. 0 out of 10 for service and atmosphere.

The food came out extremely fast & tasted so good. I got the oyster basket with the crabmeat fries & im in love. The staff was super nice & the cheesecake is good too! Had the robot playing bday music for me. Very good experience. Will be back asap cause they have good seafood. My wife got the shrimp basket and a big to go box so portions are good. Pricing is good too. Maybe I’ll try the buffet next time

Great opportunity to eat Cajun seafood away from Louisiana. You can build your own Cajun seafood combinations with choices of ingredients, seasons, spices and flavors served inside a stream bag on trays. Meal serves with disposable gloves and bib. And you Leave the Cajun cleanup to the waiter…..
