Tried this place based on the reviews, but have to admit I was disappointed by it. I ordered online for pickup, but would still expect the same quality food. To start, my food had been sitting out at the host stand for who knows how long (it was projected to be ready at 4:55 I arrived at 4:48 and it was already sitting out), that’s just unappetizing and could also cause the food to go bad. Also, I ordered 3 rolls and they were all shoved in a small container and not presented nicely at all, didn’t even look like the other reviews. I know it’s to go, but presentation is still important. That being said, 1 of my rolls was a fried one and the other 2 were fresh/raw, and putting them altogether caused them to be warm. The rolls here tasted ok, but are also very small compared to other restaurants with comparable pricing. Overall I wasn’t impressed.

This place is good, it’s about time we get a good sushi restaurant up here in Peoria. I normally go to harumi and they are great but lacking in the kitchen food department since my kids don’t eat sushi. Here they have a larger kitchen menu. We will definitely be comming back when we want our sushi fix.

My friend and I chose this place because it got good reviews, but we were very disappointed. We went on a Saturday shortly after they opened and were the only people there for the first 40min. That should have been plenty of time to make sure the food was cooked correctly.

The food was absolutely delicious and well presented. The service was immaculate. I visited after driving to get some of mine and my partners favorite Sushi from Sushi Yuki and finding this in its place. Very pleasantly surprised.
