Awesome pulled pork sandwiches!! The potatoes salad and fried okra are really tasty too!! We’ve been here several times and it’s consistently very good. Highly recommend!

I have always loved Hook’s but after today not so much. Tried calling for close to an hour and got nothing but busy signal. Decided to drive and place order in person for a take out. Placed order to high school age girl. Ordered to lg pork plates. Told her they needed to check their phones they have busy signal when trying to call. No response from her. Eventually received order and left. Arrived home to find and order of extremely dried RIBS an unable to be eaten. Coleslaw was spoiled and okra half cooked and barbecue beans were cold. Very disappointed since it was $30+ dollars and not a drink included. I didn’t check order before I left due to never had an order issue.

the absolutely worst service and food wasn’t much better. the young girl behind the the counter had to be told i was there and this was after a full 4 minutes and 2 throat clearing, she was too busy flirting with the young guy. but she did ignore him loge enough to check her phone 3 times.

The BBQ was OK but the counter service was rotten. Not just to me but the young woman was just as dismissive to the customer behind me. I can only imagine that the employee was a family member. So 4 stars for the pork barbecue and sides minus one star for the stinky service.

Could use. A menu poasted in the windows next to the drive thru .. I assumed all hooks would have the same food but I was wrong..Troy in Alabama is the best Hooks restaurant by far ..

The chicken was juicy the pulled pork was a little meh. The ribs were out of this world! Tender but not falling apart salty pork goodness on a bone! The BBQ sauce is a vinegar base. The names match them perfectly sweet, hot and medium.
