While vacationing in Harbor Beach, we discovered Hooks. Ended up going back the next evening too! It’s view of Lake Huron is spectacular. Bald Eagles flew past the window four times. The menu is very nice and very reasonably priced. There is traditional Indoor seating an great options outside for seating. We highly recommend.

LOVED this place! Each room has a water view. Motel is conveniently located halfway up The Thumb for easy exploring of all of the cute port towns located on Route 25. Clean, newly renovated rooms with Restaurant bar on premises. Will return.

They have homemade crab Rangoons that are super yummy. Giant chucks of crab! Mmm! And I had the frickle which was a pickle wrapped in hamd and cheese and an egg roll wrapper and then fried. Whoa! So good! And the view is terrific, even on a rainy day

We visited Harbor Beach over Memorial Day weekend and stopped in at Hooks for some appetizers. It was a great outdoor atmosphere that was very family friendly. The staff was very nice and welcoming. The appetizers were great and everyone enjoyed themselves. If we happen to come back to the area, we will for sure come back to Hooks again.

Came here for lunch and drinks for the first time and we had a great time with Friends. Never been here before and it’s really nice inside and has a beautiful view. The food was very good, especially the chicken salad sandwich with fries. The only complaint I have was that we waited over and hour for our food because they “ran out of lettuce” and no one came to our table to tell us why it was taking so long. I wish someone would’ve told us what was going on. Small kinks to work out with being new but Other than that, the atmosphere and the place is great. I will be going back for sure and glad there’s another great restaurant by the lake to bring more business for harbor beach! Can’t wait to see what this place will be like in the summer.
