I think this is the best Chinese take out in Medina (keep in mind buffets are a separate category). Huge portions even when getting a small. The lo mein and steamed dumplings are favorites of mine. They are also lighting fast. I usually call, order, then leave. By the time I get there in less than 15 minutes they usually have my order ready.

NEVER AGAIN! We have ordered from Hop Hing dozens of times in the past, but the last two times th portions were less than half of what a typical restaurant provides. We ordered Sweet and sour chicken, General Tso’s, and Chicken lo Mein, pork fried ric, and egg rolls. We ordered the ‘large meals’. What a freaking joke! The portions were smaller than normal meals. We spent $86.00 (before tip) for a meal that might have enough leftovers for one person. The containers were so small they looks like small sauce containers. NEVER AGAIN!

Ordered General Tso’s chicken lunch. A brighter sauce with pieces fried nicely, giving a crunch and flavor to the outside layer. Rice is also well-hydrated. A good meal.

Such a disappointment!!! Ordered yesterday with high hopes of the great food I always received…It’s been at least 6 years since I’d been here and was excited to have lunch…The food wasn’t good at all. The Bourbon Chicken went straight into trash. It had no flavor and was watered-down. Egg rolls looked old. GENERAL Tso was nothing like years before. But on a good note Wonton soup and fortune cookie was good.

I love this place, great food for an affordable price. It’s a quiet little restaurant and the owner is very friendly and welcoming. It’s not a nearby restaurant for me but I definitely make the 30 min drive when I’m in the mood for Chinese food.
