Rude bartender. Arrived Sunday at 12 noon, wanted some hot food, was told chef on break for half an hour, ordered a drink with a side of ice water, bartender refused to provide water and instead referred us to the expensive bottled water in the sales cubby (that doesn’t include ice), asked for an ice cube for my whiskey and was scoffed at, but I did get my ice cube. Good view of the runways if that’s your thing. Recommend the food mart across the way with cooks on duty and a nicer attitude.

A lot of the equipment doesn’t work, but the bar tender is exceptionally charming. Airport food and drink offers are always wildly overpriced garbage and the most you can really hope for is an employee who, against all odds, is charming and fun.

This place is filthy. They should hire more than one person to run this bar and “grill”. The poor bartender is struggling to keep up with drink orders, the cook is on break so no food options close to 5pm and no busser to pick up glasses.

After finding out my flight was 2 hours late at Lubbock airport I decided what better way to kill some time and have a beer. Walked into this place at 5:46pm and before I could get two feet in the joint the lady behind the bar yelled “I just closed”! In a very rude manner!!!! Then put her head down to do whatever she was doing and ignored me as I walked away. During the whole time I was walking away I could hear her laughing a chatting away with a feller at the bar who was drinking a beer! Only place at the airport to buy a beer and she’s closed at 5:46pm on a Saturday!

Absolutely insane…the bartender was completely rude and obnoxious to everyone in the bar.. She watched me come in and sit down at the bar I was there for 10 minutes and was completely ignored. Then the person next to me said “you can’t order a drink at the bar you have to go around to the cashier pay for your drink and then she will give it to you”. This place is very small and apparently you can’t order drinks while you’re sitting you have to get-up-and-go to the cashier every single time you want a drink. O and the best part is, the cashier is the Bartender!…. Just for reference there’s only a bar in this place, there’s no other staff. It would have been a little better if the bartender told me that I had to order from the register instead of just letting me sit there. Apparently you need to have the ESP to know what to do.

The worst most rude bartender said I had to be a bar customer to sit at a table. As she was selling me a bottle of diet Dr. Pepper. I said well I am I just bought this. She told me it had to be an alcoholic drink. I told to give me my money back which she did an I took her tip back. Should be negative 5 stars

It hasn’t been open much lately. It wasn’t that great before it changed names. The bartender was rude. Just walking around was a struggle for her. I’m sorry you are overweight and walking is a strain for you. No bags on the barstools. I guess they don’t want to take up space? With an attitude like yours, nobody is going to come in and stay a while. Beers on tap aren’t working. You have nothing to do, you better be constantly checking if everything is working. The guest next to me wouldn’t shut up. They were talking on the phone with their Bluetooth. So they are really important than everyone else.
