Today was my 1st & be our last time at Hornitos. I was so excited but was completely disappointed. The service was friendly but super super slow. It took 25 to meet our server, 49mins to get our drinks & 40mins for our food. Our drinks were not good: some were nasty, then weak & the last round round way too strong. I tried given them chances: epic fail.. Food was a bit cold and they didn’t have any seafood or guacamole my fav items. So left unhappy. They need help in the kitchen & to be more attentive with service. Our server was barely around to even discuss the issues tonight. So here it is.

These guys tried to scammed us we went for margaritas night special that were for a 1$ and we all got 18 margaritas some tacos also but when the check came in we saw that they charge them 5 margaritas specials and at the very bottom they put 13 margaritas for $150!!!!! They probably thought we were drunk and wouldn’t find out but no it didn’t make sense. After we addressed it to the server she just shrugged and went to get the new bill that came out to be $58 which was correct. On top of that the service was so terrible. We didn’t tip the server just because it was terrible but she still put her own tip. STAY AWAY FROM HERE PEOPLE !!

I went to Hornitos on a Saturday night and it was a good time. Good music, drinks, ordered a couple of apps. We left early but you can tell this place gets fun later in the night. Overall good experience that time.
