We went there for lunch. I had the Club sandwich and waffle fries. My boss had a dressed Cheese Burger and waffle fries. Both of us enjoyed our meals very much. My club was at least 2 inches thick with meat. And had fresh tomatoes, lettuce and cheese

It’s not the same since new ownership took over about a year or so ago. I used to come here 3 times a week because everything was reasonably priced, the food was amazing, and the service was fantastic. Since then….the prices have doubled (to be fair, alot of places have had increases in pricing), however the quality of the food you get now is way down from what it used to be, and the sizing portions have drastically been reduced. The servers that work there from my experience work their butts off, and more often than not, they just dont have enough help. I miss the way it used to be and the people that were all involved in it.

A hidden gem! Really enjoyed our trip to Hornville Tavern. Went in for lunch and got the fried appetizer platter and it was huge with lots of selection. Finished lunched with a delicious double cheeseburger and fries. Everything was very reasonably priced, would definitely recommend, and look forward to going back.

The old saying that the hole in the walls serve the best food applies to Hornville Tavern. I had the Ribeye and did not regret it. It was tender, juicy, and oh so flavorful with just the right amount of fat to keep it tender and full of flavor. It made my mouth water and my belly thrilled. My friend had the smoked chicken, it was awesome smoked chicken as per my friend. The German Potato Salad was delicious, loved it. And the Baked Beans were good a little different but good. My other friend had the Ribeye Sandwich which was good, had just the right amount of fat to give it flavor and crinkle cut fries, they were excellent for fries. We were all extremely impressed with our meals and service.
