Loved the food! First time back after it reopened. Very impressed. Service was a bit slow but we weren’t in any hurry. Will definitely go back!

Absolutely amazing restaurant! From the moment you walk in, you feel like family. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting. The food is delicious! It’s hard to go wrong with anything on the menu. Brunch is a must! The cinnamon roll and strawberry mimosa were out for this world!

We made the trek over to try Horsch Radish and we weren’t disappointed! The homemade bread with garlic/herb butter was delightful and the sausage spread is amazing. The warm German potato salad is so delicious, and their fresh green beans are perfectly cooked and seasoned. The service was top-notch! We can’t wait to come back again – this time we’ll save room for desert. Thank you for a wonderful meal

The new turnover of the previous German restaurant is really a gem. The food is at its good quality and dessert is great. Reservation is required for now. I’m glad that people from Champaign can finally enjoy some German food around the area.

Made a reservation for New Years Eve and really enjoyed our evening. Had a singer in the bar, have added some basic salads and simplified the menu compared to the previous Bayern Stube. You pick from 6-8 entrees and all come with any two sides… still some of the German favorites but added a few staples too and a vegetable of the day which was garlic buttered broccoli tonight. We LOVE the Hungarian goulash and lucky for us it was the soup of the day. They had another of our favorites, apple streusel, on the dessert tray…. served warm, not too sweet and bursting with cinnamon. We’ll be back!

Everything was wonderful. I have never really had a lot of German food and love the old school slow cooked flavors. Brittany was a fantastic waitress and, helped us navigate the menu. This will be a new go to for special occasions.

Had an excellent experience here for a belated Birthday supper. Overall food was good-the pretzel missed the mark (which accounts for the knock in stars) but otherwise all 8 of us (including 3 children) enjoyed our entrees and sides. Staff was excellent, friendly and attentive! Our children loved this place and the owners were welcoming to them! Drove an hour to reach this out of the way spot and we would make the trip again!

Advertises itself as farm to table, but we couldn’t see any evidence of that. All the sauces on different meals tasted the same and all were thin and tasted like packet mixes. They were out of food and drink items we tried to order. The red cabbage and sauerkraut were good. It was very empty on a weekday evening.

Have heard good things have heard bad reviews were mixed so I tried it out myself went in during maifest and tried to order a pork shank told me to buy a ticket that’s 10 extra plus the price of the shank. So I get the sausages instead they looked good but tasted like they had been sitting under heat for a while (not fresh). My sides were dry which was sad because a 50 dollar meal I should at minimum like it. But I want to love it. Bread was rock hard and cold. I chose not to try dessert after my meal experience. Might try again but not looking like it will be soon.
