Several local people recommended we try this place, so I was pleasantly surprised that we got right in. Great view of the lake and they have plenty of seating inside and outside. The Bam Bam shrimp egg roll appetizer was outstanding. I ordered the steak with blue cheese risotto and my wife had the crab stuffed salmon. Would highly recommend both. Best risotto I’ve ever had. The place filled up shortly after we arrived but there was still no wait when we left. Great experience!

I had the feature fillet tonight… perfection, it practically melted in my mouth. One of the bartenders downstairs in the bourbon bar made me a delicious blackberry lemonade and bourbon cocktail. Thank you Ben! The other bartender made me some magical fruity & refreshing pick-me-up of a shot Thank you Jody! This place has all the feeling of a secret hideaway speakeasy downstairs and upstairs a darling Swiss bistro in the Alps. The view of the lake couldn’t be more beautiful, the warm wooden interior, and the food! The food is divine! All the staff and patrons alike are so happy and I felt right at home. This place is well loved by all the people who run it and I could taste it with every sip and every bite. This is by far my favorite place at the Lake.

From the appetizers to the main course and desert, everything was amazingly good. The service was excellent. If you get Brian as a server you will be blessed but all the staff was very friendly and helpful. The owners even came by the table to talk to my wife and I. We felt more like family than just customers. Best KC strip and carrot cake I have ever had. Prices mirror the quality but are still lower than many places not half as good. Will be a regular on our list of favorite places.

We came here with our family of 7 which included an energetic 4 year old and an 8 month old. To say we were blown away with their customer service, attention to detail, and amazing food would be an understatement. I have NEVER been to a restaurant that cares so much about their customers and can also deliver a 5 star meal with amazing cocktails as well. Farm to table food at an affordable rate in the ozarks is hard to come by. Easily, without a doubt, the BEST restaurant we have been to in a very long time. Highly recommend!

We came here for the first time tonight and had a wonderful experience! The food was amazing (and very moderately priced) our server, Sarah, was very sweet and busy but always checked back and was very attentive. Lastly, we popped downstairs to check out the speakeasy (which has a great atmosphere) and the owner himself came over to greet us and ensure we were happy. Love supporting a family owned and operated business. We will 10/10 be back! Thanks for a great evening, Horseshoe Bend Bar & Grill!

We had dinner there last weekend and it took about 2 hours for our group of 4 to be served. The couple we were with said their food was cold, but our server Megan was able to bring them new orders that were hot. I enjoyed a spinach salad and my husband said that his Manhattan drink was really good. It’s really busy at Lake of the Ozarks and it’s hard to get into eat out at restaurants because of this.

Wonderful place to eat! They’re child friendly, quick with service, they are just overall wonderful! The cooks were quick with my kids and my food. It tasted great and I’m glad I chose this restaurant to eat at!! I definitely recommend!

This place was a huge blessing. After having some disappointing food outings the last few days (never go to JB Hooks) my wife and I came here for dinner. The atmosphere is warm and inviting with a phenomenal view, the service was above and beyond (Thank you Sarah) and the food is so good, I mean so good I would drive the 2 1/2 hours from home to Horseshoe Bend Bar and Grill just to eat here. It truly is that good.

I can’t say enough praise about horseshoe bend bar and grill! The food is amazing, and the service even better. I always feel at home, just walking in the door. The rustic and thoughtful options make you feel like you’re at grandmas table, all the while giving a chic modern American fine dining flare. I will keep coming back, for sure! Make sure to try the home made desserts & the stuffed mushrooms.
