Came here just before 2p for a weekday quick bite after arriving in Nashville. Didn’t want to spoil my dinner appetite so I only ordered the Seafood Volcano Roll. It wasn’t busy so my order came out in record time 5 minutes and you get a text when it is ready.

Seafood volcano roll was among the best sushi I’ve ever had. Loaded with a heaping portion of decadent crawfish that tasted like lobster claw. A little pricey but well worth it.

Living on the West Coast, where sushi spots are as common as yoga studios, I’ve been rather spoiled with top-tier Japanese cuisine. So, when I happened upon a Japanese eatery during my travels in a Southeastern state—far removed from my usual sushi haunts—I couldn’t resist the chance to gauge their prowess. Deciding to keep it simple for a fair evaluation, I ordered a Philadelphia Roll. To my delight, this spot executed the classic roll with a flair that could give my West Coast favorites a run for their wasabi. It’s heartening to discover that even miles away from my gastronomic comfort zone, quality Japanese cuisine is accessible and thriving. Well done, indeed!

Horu Sushi is an excellent sushi bar located in the assembly food hall. With an extensive menu and fresh ingredients you won’t be disappointed.

Delicious sushi and pot stickers from the food hall with many amazing restaurants. You could easily overlook this place for some of the fancier looking places in the food hall but you would be making a mistake. This is one of the best places in the hall. The Nashville Hot roll was very tasty with great flavors and some spice. The pot stickers had a great crispy crust. Overall this is one of the top places to try at the food hall.

I really like that they have vegetarian sushi that is different from the normal boring stuff that most places offer. It was pretty over priced though! The vegetarian crunchy spicy roll was good, but I don’t think it was worth the price I paid! The roll and a drink was over $25!

amazing! i’m vegetarian, and i love how they have experimented with ingredients to make delicious, inventive veggie rolls beyond the typical cucumber. a real hidden gem in 5th & Broad. i’m a local so i generally stay away from touristy spots, but Horu Sushi is worth walking through crazy Broadway crowds. oh-and reasonable price for the amount! the staff was so kind, and you can tell they are happy there. i can’t wait to return again. thank you for a great experience.

I got the vegetarian tempura roll and it was excellent. Crispy and slightly spicy, well worth the money, it’s a pretty large roll.

Stopped by to try a roll while visiting the Assembly Food Hall on a Friday night. Ordered the Nashville Hot Roll, it was a little pricey, but sounded good. Received a text in about 10 minutes that my food was ready for pickup.

I was excited to see a variety of vegetarian sushi, but I was disappointed in the most basic thing: the rice. It was too mushy and too heavy, definitely not properly cooked sushi rice. The rest of the toppings were great, but the bad quality rice took all the goodness away.
