They blatantly lied to me stating that the Legume Stew of pounded vegetable such as cabbage, chayote, eggplants, papaya is Vegan. I called to confirm the ingredients and they insisted that no meat was cooked into it. Upon eating I found small chunks of beef and afterwards was advised that it was added by whoever cooked it. Which means they knew and still lied to me after I confirmed on the phone and in person

I drove over 12 miles to try this place and I left disappointed. I was greeted by a child who worked behind the counter and wasn’t able to help me. There’s also no menu available which is really inconvenient. I then asked the young lady are there any photos available so I can see the food. She gives me a business card with tiny pictures of the food. I never had this kind of Caribbean food before so how am I supposed know what to order?? This drive was a waste of my time and I won’t be back.

I’m so glad I found this Haitian Restaurant and market near my home in Ruskin. Food is tasty and authentic, i bit pricey though. Wish the market portion had more inventory and variety of our stable Haitian supples. All in all, I will definitely be coming back for the food and the market. Love supporting my peoples.

The food is soooo good! If you’re looking for fresh authentic Haitian food, look no further… The amount of food you get is generous and can eat from more than once or even share for two. We used to drive way to Tampa (over 30 mins) just for Haitian food, but not anymore! Will forever be my go to Haitian food spot!
