Found this place while traveling through a dead zone of restaurants and options. It’s a regional chain with a full menu and loaded salad bar. We weren’t expecting much, but were pleasantly surprised by a a pretty good meal. The salad and hot bar is huge and our entree from the kitchen was really good. Would recommend a stop if you’re in the area or passing through.

My husband and son were on their way to Pittsburgh for a Steelers game, from Philly, and they stopped here on their way for a bite to eat. It was conveniently located right off of the turnpike, the food was delish and the service was friendly and on-the-ball. My husband loved the name so he even bought himself a Hoss’s baseball hat! We don’t have these chains around us but if we are ever near another one we would definitely stop here to eat again.

The staff was friendly and the service was great. The food was disappointing when compared to the four star rating. I ordered grilled chicken and a sweet potato. The chicken had a rubbery like texture to it. The sweet potato okay but kind of watery. My husband had the white fish which was about a 2-3 stars and broccoli which was good, we’ll give it a 4. The salad bar was a two and the deserts were… well a zero.

I definitely give this location a 5 star rating! I’m not a big fan of steak, but their seafood is amazing! I ordered the shrimp & it was delicious. I was born in the south so my taste for seafood is strong, & the crab cake was better than most you can order around here. Our server was wonderful! Her name was Elizabeth & she was very attentive & we didn’t have to go hunting for her when we needed something. She definitely deserves a raise!! Overall, this Hoss’s is MUCH better than the Richland location by far & I most definitely will be going back. Thanks for an awesome dinner experience!!!!

My husband thoroughly enjoyed his meal & salad bar, dessert bar… I wasn’t impressed with my meal. I did like the variety of the salad & dessert bars though. The soup bar was good the 1st time, but the 2nd time through my soup was cold. The bread bar didn’t impress me. Value was pretty much in range with similar restaurants. The place was clean, & staff was friendly & helpful.

Great family environment!! Great salad bar, dessert bar, soft serve, sirloin tips. Garlic bread & cinnamon bread are wonderful! So sad that the owner is closing this location to build a convience store in its place!!! Its has been a landmark in this town for 30 years!!!

Great food for the price. The salad and dessert bars are great. If you are looking for a fancy resturant this is not your place. If you want lots of good food at a reasonable price. You will love it. The kids menu is very good. The service was also very good and included the bar was also included with the kids menu. I have eaten at three different locations and they were all equally good. Dont forget to sample the fresh breads, they were all great but the rolls were my favorite.
