I had heard about this place from a friend as a recommend place to eat when in town for a tournament. I was so happy I listened. I ordered the jumbo tenders 2 warm and 1 hot with a side of waffle fries. The chicken was sealed exceptionally. They were both crispy and juicy. Would recommend!!

Been wanting to try this place forever . My kiddo and I both decided we’d try here. We both got the mild chicken tenders with Mac n cheese. The chicken was hot & fresh. The sauce was a bit spicy but was delicious with their ranch. Overall we we weren’t disappointed.

This place is great. I love how they have many different types of levels of spiciest ranging from cold to ]+]^{^{#. (Or whatever the spiciest is.) The bathrooms are very clean and the place is in a good area. Most of the time it isn’t crowded, and the workers are kind.

I was excited to try a new chicken place. I was disappointed with how oily the chicken was (to the point it went through the bread, paper and onto the counter), the flavor/heat wasn’t there either, the waffle was lacking flavor was was way too wet for my liking, the mac and cheese was pretty much over cooked noodles with shredded cheese mixed in. The chicken sandwich was on white bread, which was not expected. Sadly disappointed. Presentation wasn’t horrible. Best thing was the ranch ♀️

This is quite simply…the best chicken I’ve ever tasted! The hot is very very spicy – but not painful. The cold was easy enough for my family to eat without any problems. Their banana pudding made my kids yell out loud & they have Mac & Cheese that’s so good! Please try the sweet tea!

I love Hot Chicken Takeover, I really do. This last time just really missed the mark. So, I typically go in for lunch (around noon) since I work in a nearby office and every time the food is amazing. I receive it quickly and with a smile. However, just the other day I decided to get dinner there for my family. Big mistake on my end. Upon entry, the dining area was a mess, it looked like nobody had cleaned it up, ever. Ranch on the tables. Food on the floor. The works. Then, I get up to the kiosk where you’d place your order & this older guy in front of me was struggling with it, so I ask the tall girl with tattoos behind the front counter if she could help him out. She barely even acknowledged me, so I watched this poor dude struggle to figure everything out. After I place my order, I assumed it’d be awhile since it was a somewhat large order-breasts, tenders, fries, etc. So I went to the bathroom real quick, which somehow was another mistake. There was no toilet paper, no paper towels, and the trashcan was full. Nonetheless, I leave the bathroom and about 10 minutes later my food comes out. Throughout those 10 minutes, I heard more arguing and cussing between employees than I heard while I served in the military. Whatever, I grab the food and go home to enjoy it with my family. Unfortunately, there wasn’t much to enjoy, the chicken was dry and tasted old. The fries were burnt and had almost no salt. I didn’t even get my side of mac and cheese. All this to say, I won’t be returning, not for dinner at least.

Great employees and they explained the menu very well as I had never been. The food is very good and plentiful! I had heat of warm and it was spicy to me but very tasty the pickles are delicious

Chicken is the star of the show— a must try in Columbus! The chicken was very tender + juicy, the drums more so than the breast. We ordered “Hot”, which was not as spicy as I expected. If you have a medium/high spice tolerance hot is very manageable. The Mac and cheese was fine, typical Mac and cheese. Not pictured is the banana pudding— pretty good, but we wished there were banana pieces included. Definitely appreciated the free sweet tea and how kind the servers/workers were.
