It’s some of the best fried chicken I’ve had in Columbus, but it doesn’t quite hit the mark for me. I might just need to move south to find what I’m looking for. Excellent service, staff and premises. I wish they wouldn’t cut the chicken breasts in half, it loses a bit of that juiciness I expect from a fried chicken breast.

If you’re like me who loves really spicy chicken, this place is for you, try their HOLY spice level, its holy $#$$ good! But of course they have less spicy options of course. the down side is probably the offstreet parking, it can get busy on this area.

Honestly the food here used to be so much better but today it’s was horrible the Mac n cheese was off and tasted super bland, the chicken breading was terrible and thinly coated. The only saving grace for the 2 star rating was the fried pickles were good. Over all I think I’ll drive farther to go to the high st location from now on.

In every conceivable way, this is the most over rated fried chicken restaurant on the planet. I’m from the South, not only that, I’m from a family of cooks. I’ve had it all and every variety. Part of me grieves for the patrons of places like this. Every food truck on the Westside, especially the Hilltop area is significantly better. The food, even though 2x the price of Canes, was maybe 1% better. My Grandaddy would roll over in his grave over people paying that much for half-rate fried chicken. Y’all should literally be ashamed.

It’s good to hit-or-miss IF you can get your food before it gets cold. The first time I ordered ahead, I waited in a long line to be told “It’s over there on the racks” and it was cold. Tonight, I went to the rack, myself and other people who ordered To-go stood there for an eternity before asking “where is our food?” Well, they stopped putting it over there because of worries that people would take orders that weren’t theirs. They just watched us stand there, staring at the To-go orders rack; didn’t say anything to us. Cold food AGAIN. I’m so mad I paid $15 for this. And the macaroni was slimy and gross tonight. My leftovers are going right in the trash

I loved the juicy chicken breast sandwich with crunchy pickles and slaw. My daughter had the chicken tenders. We both shared a side order of Mac n cheese and shoestring fries. The fries reminded me of the old GD Ritzy fries.
