These hot dogs are phenomenal. 5/5 stars.The buns are the base of all good hot dogs and these buns are out of this world- grilled on each side to just crisp and soft and warm in the middle. The hotdogs themselves are high quality grilled to order on the flat top. Even the specialty dog’s are $5 and under.

My fiance and I came here on a Thursday night. The summer hours clearly listed that the place was open until midnight or 1am. We got there about 10 minutes before 10pm and the two Russian girls working there said they were closing we couldn’t eat there but could order along with another elderly couple who came in and they said their hours were different on the window then when they were closing. We ordered food, I told them three times we didn’t want mustard or raw onions on our 2 Chicago dogs and they were covered in them. We also ordered a large order of fries that were disgusting. I was extremely disappointed for a $33 order in both the service and food. The only reason I am giving 2 stars is because we had come there prior and it was good, but I don’t think we will be returning back there again.

The employee we talked to was really nice, he helped us decide on what to get by telling us what was most popular and how the hotdogs were made. I got the Carolina Slaw Dog and it was really good, it was basically a hot dog with cole slaw and chili on it, the water we had was free and the outside seating was really nice at night which was when we ate there. We will be going back to try more hot dogs while we’re here.

Hours sign on door said open at 11am. Came at 11:20 and the doors were locked. A gentleman came to the door and said they were still prepping and would open up in 5 minutes and had us wait outside. 10 minutes later we left. He could have let us come in and look at the menu while we waited. The pictures looked amazing and we were hoping to have a good lunch on our way out of town.

We had high hopes for this place, but unless they change some of their core recipes, and get people in there who know what they’re doing, they will not get the business that a good hot dog stand at the beach should get.

glad it’s back. reasonable in price great hot dogs. they also have hamburger ”s there, haven’t tried one yet. not very big inside, but you won’t be sorry. enjoy.

It. Was. So. Good!! 🙂 Besides serving all beef hotdogs…everything was made immediately after ordering and the gentleman working behind the counter was fast, friendly and kept himself busy keeping up with cleanliness and stocking up condiments etc….Keep it up Hot Dog Johnnies, you’re doing it all right♡
