Amazing food! It’s hard to decide which sides to get.. so get them all. Our favorites sides are the Collard Greens and the Yams! All the chicken is very juicy and cooked to perfection. If you want anything that has to do with chicken and waffles..this is your new favorite place for it guaranteed.

My girlfriend and I have wanted to eat here for a while. I ordered the honey fried chicken with Mac & cheese and candied yams. She ordered the Cajun fish and chips with a side of collard greens. My chicken was phenomenal it was steaming hot when it came out and the breading was cooked to perfection with a drizzle of honey and it wasn’t dry at all . You can tell they use real ingredients here put there heart in to their food. The Mac n cheese was good to the last bite was definitely made with real Mac n cheese. My girlfriend also had zero complaints and absolutely loved her greens. I recommend this place for anybody looking for real soul food with real ingriedients. I saw a comment on here where someone mentioned it was a bit pricey I thought it was fair . There was more food than we could I eat I’ll definitely be showing off my grub at work Tom. We’ve been following this restaurant on Facebook and I’m pretty sure this guy helps feed his community so it’s worth every last penny especially when it’s delicious food for a good cause. Also avaible for takeout Covid Conscientious and friendly. We’ll be coming back thank you for the hot delicious meal.

I was excited when this location opened because I was a regular at the Bethlehem location before it closed. Very surprised to say the food was horrible. Fries look like they were fried in oil that was not hot enough oil and weren’t cooked all the way through. The plantains were still raw and the yams looked like they were over a day old and were hard. The whiting filet had bones in it and I was told that is because they are fresh now.

First time eating here. It was a bit pricey. I got the honey dipped chicken. It was not cooked. The chicken was really bloody. Also the oxtail was under cooked. Usually oxtail is served with rice but it wasn’t. Disappointed.
