Stopped in while on a road trip. OMG what a good choice that was! You can taste that they make EVERYTHING. Those baked beans; to die for. Peach cobbler, reminded me of bread pudding. That Mac-and-Cheese; rich and creamy. Even the bacon on the potato had flavor. Everything was outstanding, and the price was excellent for the amount of food you get. I wish we lived closer, because I’d probably be a frequent flyer there. 10/10 would recommend again!

I used to go here all the time when I went to Louisiana Tech. Recently graduated and moved away. I think about the loaded potato with pulled pork constantly!! I can’t speak for their other food but they’ve never disappointed with my usual order. I recently made the hour drive here and it was just as amazing as I remember, worth it. I miss this place a lot!!

I was pretty disappointed with my meal today. If I go to hot rods I only get the chopped brisket because it actually tastes seasoned where as the sliced brisket is just unseasoned meat with no fat or bark at all. I asked for a chopped brisket sandwich and got home only to see that it was clearly sliced and someone just chopped it because they were out of the regularly prepared chopped brisket. Your customers ask for certain items for a reason, especially if you’re going to continue cooking bland sliced brisket.

Food had a LOT of flavor. The meat was pretty grease. But you are looking at a BBQ place. Staff are quick working and usually busy. I can tell this place is popular in this town and a nice break for me from chain restaurants. A little spendy, but you do get what you pay for here. If im ever around here I will be stopping by again.
