I have loved Hot Tamale for years and think their food is delicious. However, today is probably the last day that I will go there, and I’m really sad about that. I ordered two burrito bowls, and what we got for $20 you can see in the photo I’ve added. It was literally about 6 bites of food. There was barely any rice or beans, and they were out of lettuce. It was delicious, but incredibly disappointing. I can’t afford to spend that kind of money for barely any food anymore.

I always get a great meal here. The portions are generous and the food is fresh while the meats are seasoned just right. While it’s not a place for a romantic meal, it is the Mexican food equivalent comparison to a Subway store environment if you & a date want to eat in.

The hats hanging on the wall are a good touch. The napkins are really thick, also really smooth while wiping my face and hands. The baskets are a relaxing color and make me feel comfortable. However, the M & M machine was stocked a little low for my taste. The noise the soda fountain machine makes was also enjoyable.

Decent food, mildly flavored, generous with the toppings. Service a bit slow at 8pm on a Saturday. They ran out of steak, but were cooking more, which we waited for. The 4th star is because they put a ton of black olives and cilantro on my order and I didn’t have to ask for more.

Prices are high for the amount of food you receive. I wouldn’t call this Mexican food either. It’s Tex-Americana. $14 for a taco salad with guac, way over-priced. Many times lettuce is close to tuning. Staff seem less than interested in helping you, too. It’s too bad that this is the only place to get food like this in our area.

The weather was extremely bad and the workers were hoping to be able to get a head start home before it became worse. They were very accommodating and polite to both myself and my daughter. The food was outstanding as was the service.

Girls hair hanging in front with no hair net being fast food I thought your suppose to wear one. So requested her to put it behind her and the got attitude from both people working. The place is a mess!! Spider webs right above where food is prepared a lot of health violations!!!! Terrible terrible service!!!

I used to love this place but have heard nothing but bad report lately. Especially about the employees refusing to answer the phone for orders. I thought I’d still give it a go tonight. Low and behold I’ve called 4 times and absolutely no answer, no matter how long I stay on the line! Absolutely ridiculous! Looks like I’ll have to start taking my business elsewhere and find new favorites.
