This restaurant has very decent authentic Chinese cuisine. The presentation is also pretty good. We liked cumin beef best. This being said, most dishes are a bit pricey , especially with smaller than usual amounts. In addition, be aware that the menu is not updated with the recent increased prices. You may be a bit surprised to see the bill is more than the listed prices.

Was wanting some Chinese food, so went to online and started a search from Gallup to Grants, to Flagstaff and looked for the good rated Chinese place. After reading, I decided on Hot Wok. Upon pulling up, there was plenty of parking. It was about 1 hour before closing time.

I ordered 3 entrees, beef and peppers, orange chicken (not spicey) and Won Ton Soup. I also ordered sweet and sour chicken, this is why I am posting, the sweet and sour chicken was basically fried chicken strips, not tempura that I am used to ( I am from Chicago) there was very little peppers pineapple etc. The sauce was on the side which did not allow the chicken and vegetables to absorb it. I hope my other entrees are better. I live about 15 miles from flagstaff which is why when I got the taste for Chinese I order so much, this day i just happened to be close to Hot Wok.i hope they take this in a positive way to improve on this. Item. The chicken had a fishy after taste like it was cooked in the same oil.

I ordered the seafood Korea kimchi hot pot and it was PHENOMENAL. It was full of shrimp, scallops, squid, and tons of fresh veggies. I lived in Korea for a few years. And this hot pot is ON POINT. Perfect flavor! My partner got the Mongolian beef entree and he had to order another to go because it was so good!

The Hot Wok Restaurant’s chef is highly sensitive and provides the workers with helpful instructions regarding the food’s nutritional value. I traveled 10 kilometers simply to visit this restaurant that was recommended by one of my friends, and I wish they had a facility in my town; I thought the trip was worthwhile since the food was so great, tasty, and beyond my wildest dreams.

4. Hot Wok Restaurant in Sherwood Forest Shopping Center is the area’s top Chinese restaurant as I didn’t want to eat Western food last night when I went to a restaurant. I had never eaten such excellent pork in my entire life until I ordered the garlic pork from Hot Wok Restaurant in Sherwood Forest Shopping Center.
