Strange experience including our waitress telling us the bartenders and the manger doesnt like her so we might not be able to get what we asked for. A margarita with the thinest slice of lime and barely any salt picture shown. No to mention some of our order was cold as my friend had to ask for new fries. Afterwards We checked our bank statement and they double charged us. The food was decent but not decent enough to deal with all of this even with the beautiful view that you could easily get at other restaurants.

This was our first time eating at HOTO’s and I highly recommend it. I ordered the Fried Pickles Appetizer and for my meal I ordered the Philly Cheesesteak Tacos. Both were really good. The back patio is great to enjoy the view of the ocean while you eat.

Kim was great, the food and prices were worth every penny. The shrimp and fish tacos didn’t need any sauce added to eat and the philly cheesesteak was awesome too. Will come again on our next visit to NMBeach! Ate here again August 2023, everything was just as good as it was before. The service, food, and atmosphere was fantastic. This place should be getting more business than they are, go here and support the workers. It is definitely worth it.

The back patio on the this place is awesome!! Right on the beach. But DO NOT EAT here. This is literally the worst food I’ve eaten in Myrtle Beach in the 2 years I’ve lived here. PS their frozen drinks are expensive too. I can’t even explain the texture of the “ chicken” on my Caesar salad, my hubby smothered chicken was weird and had like half melted Kraft singles on it, the hush puppies were cold, my friends burger was bland frozen Patties with soggy supposed to be crispy pork belly. 100% do not recommend. No I didn’t ask for the manager while we were eating because our waitress was no where to be seen. On top of that 20%gratuity was added to our check and we were 3 people not 6 as the menu states. I did at end after we paid go and find the manager. She offered to adjust the check and remove the gratuity but I didn’t want to. She offered to personally take care of us next time we were in and apologized for our experience,

I’ve been here twice. Once for dinner and once because the band drew me in. The first time was disappointing. It was very mediocre and pricey for what you get. The second time I was on the street outside and the band was pretty good so I decided to go in and have a drink and listen to the rest of the band’s set. Service was slow, but the waitress was constantly moving so she must have been busy. I wouldn’t return for food, but a few beers while you listen to the band is worth it.

We arrived on a busy Friday evening with a party of 15. This place was phenomenal. We waited approximately 15 minutes and were seated out under the covered patio, right on the beach. Our food was delicious and plates were filling. Jo kept our drinks full and even interacted with all of our kids. She was able to keep all three ticket’s separate and checked on us frequently. Highly recommend HOTOs when you are In North Myrtle Beach.

When we got there it was raining lightly. There are picnic tables and a stage out front which is very cool. Inside is really nice but we like to sit outdoors so because it was raining we sat on the deck out back. There is plenty of seating and great views. Our server was experienced but new to this place so things were a little off. We got our drinks and ordered our food. We walked out to the beach and enjoyed the view. It seemed to take a while for our food to arrive. When it got there it looked great (I forgot to take pictures because we were starving!) We dig into our food and soon realize that all our food cold. My husband had fish tacos which were slightly warm but delicious. My daughter had steak and shrimp and it was cold. The steak was done just right but cold. I got a huge pretzel with cheese and it was also cold. The cheese had skin. Like I said we were starving so we ate it cold. The food was good just cold. I really think it has to do with not having enough staff which is a problem everywhere now. I will go back and try it again and hopefully have an even better experience.

We were in the mood for southern/sea food options. We were honestly going to try out Buoys , but the wait was 45+ minutes. So we came over to Hotos where we could be seated straight away – outside on the beach no less. We had a great view of the waves.
