Very unexpected experience based on the outside appearance. As soon as you get past the hostess stand it’s a whole vibe. Great lighting, appropriate level of music, welcoming bar area, 2 levels of seating. Staff was very attentive and friendly. The food was amazing! Get the collard greens!! The Rasta Pasta, Lamb, and Oxtails all got rave reviews from our party of 4. We will definitely return, you e earned some fans from Philly!

Did dine in. The service was pretty good after having to get the attention of the servers. I think customer service training can be improved. Waiting 20 minutes from a water refill. I ordered the calamari and chicken and waffles from the brunch menu. As a chef it was ok. Calamari was good. The chicken and waffles I was a little slighted. The chicken wasn’t hand breaded. Maybe add some whip cream to the dish. Needed more flavor. The waffles were decent. For $48 potatoes are cheap and could be added to some of the dishes. My friend had the steak and egg. The chef needs better technique on the steak. Flavor was great. Eggs where cooked to the liking.

Try the French “Loaf” Toast. Never have I ever had a French toast this way. Syrup what is that for!! There is no need for it. Then I got to the middle and this warm goodness came and added to experience. Sure a place I will visit again well worth the drive from south jersey to here!

Lovee Loveee Love this cute black owned restaurant! The vibes were amazing, and the food was very tasty. They have a menu of diverse foods from different cultures, which i loved. I had the lamb chops, which had a lot of flavor and a mango mojito. The drinks were also really good. Would definitely recommend it. I can’t wait to go again to try something new

This black owned gem wins! The food was delightful! The cabbage and black rice were my favorite although EVERYTHING was perfect! Presentation was 5 stars. I would also recommend the Mango Sangria. The wait staff were friendly and attentive as well.

I went for a celebratory birthday brunch. The app/interface used to make reservations was user friendly. I was surprised to learn the policy is all parties must be present for the table to be seated. I appreciated the selections available for Brunch and that the mimosas are tasty as well as bottomless. Street parking is available or you can choose to park in the lot across the street. The food was delicious. Pictured below is the steak and eggs along with my mimosa. Btw the French toast was scrumptious.

This place is nice…the decor etc but parking is not so good. The food was pretty good the oxtail was very flavorful but still a bit tough could have cooked a little longer. The Mac and cheese was very tasty too…..everything had flavor well seasoned I must admit that. Fyi the gratuity is added if more than 3 ppl in the party

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING . Between the warm/intimate setting, the wonderful people who work there, the food… it was the best experience i’ve had in a long time! The food was perfect. If you’re big on steak, I suggest the t-bone steak medium well. It was cooked to perfection and the chimichurri sauce on top paired perfectly with it. I have found my new go to spot and will enjoy going here from now on. And the owner is a COMPLETE sweetheart and her hard work shows in her establishment. Top tier for sure!!
