We are a barbecue company that caters to all needs, I’ve been building this company since 2010, its a very clean and fresh establishment. We use noting but high quality ingredients, we cater to all needs also all food restrictions, we do not turn down any business. House of barbecue takes pride in everything we put out if it isn’t to our standards then we adapt. Cooking is a passion that I have had since I was 8 years old, my first dish was beef pot roast I cooked with my grandfather whom was wheelchair bound, thinking I was just throwing things together in a pot turned out to be very desirable that my family enjoyed and brought the whole family together which brought me to where I am today. Stumbled across this lil hidden gem in clauson MI. The food was to die for and the grill master/chef came to our table to see how everything was and made sure we had what we needed. He was super thankful and sweet. The atmosphere was quiet and they played the best blues music. If ribs are your thing… you should definitely check them out

Hey Y’all I’m from Texas capital of smoked meats and foods. I was throughly impressed by smoke process and flavor here. I am not easily impressed with smoke meat spots. Service friendly and quick. Atmosphere is simple and clean. If your putting much in decor then it’s not fancy. If you focus is good and service this is A12.

House of Barbecue: A homestyle hidden gem. We ordered the barbecue smoked chicken breast with the famous mac n cheese and coleslaw. First bite and you could tell the chicken was smoked perfect, tender and so flavorful. We also got the shrimp skewers with their famous barbecue street corn and potato salad. Do not sleep on this street corn, it was incredible. Shrimp were delicious and all the sides were amazing. Both dinners came with a little crispy jalapeño corn bread which was a very tasty and appreciated extra. This restaurant is wonderful, staff are so kind and a great family atmosphere. WOW! I cannot say enough great things about this place! We are vegetarian and they actually have Vegan and Vegetarian options! And they were fabulous! The flavors were fantastic! Absolutely delicious! We had the tofu bowls which was absolutely amazing and the Mac and cheese on the side. The Mac and cheese is the Mac and cheese if my dreams! I cannot wait to go back!

Excellent BBQ that is well worth the price. The only time I have ever had BBQ where the fat actually melted in my mouth. Service was a tad slow and the sides were not all the same temperature, but it is a two man show. They are doing an excellent job with what they have to work with.

If you are even considering going here, stop reading and just go! The food was amazing! Not a single thing we ordered was bad. Our group had the rib tips, pork ribs, jerk chicken, poutine & crab cakes. The street corn and the mac & cheese were fantastic. Will definitely be back the next time we are in the area!

Nothing short of amazing food experience at House of Barbecue! The beef brisket was super tender and seasoned well with an outer black crust on the edges. We were told that they usually smoke the meat anywhere between 16 and 20 hours and it tasted amazing. The white sauce on top really added to the flavor. The sides we got were the BBQ mac & Cheese, street corn, and the loaded mashed potatoes and they were all super flavorful. We also ordered the BBQ Shrimp Scampi with Baguette and the sauce the shrimp had a great cajun-style kick of spice. We also ordered the chocolate pie for dessert and it was very good too. It was still a little frozen in the middle, but it had rich, almost mousse texture and a great flavor. This place doesn’t look like much from the outside and the dining area is a little plain, but it feels very homey and inviting. The prices are a little higher end, but the quantity of how much meat they gave us and how great it tasted, it was worth the price! We will definitely be back soon!

Went only because I’d scrolled upon a social media flyer advertising Taco Tuesday’s 3 for $10 special. Ordered 4 trios & tried the chicken, shrimp & brisket tacos AMAAAAAAZING! And that’s not even their specialty, but they’re also not your average BBQ spot either, and yes, they offer vegan options. All I can say is you gotta go, because I’m definitely going back to try the real menu! Shout-out to Chef Collier and Omar for the amazing service & food. Looking forward to warm-weather dining on the covered patio!

Great food! A bit expensive for me personally but if it’s a treat every now and then it’s well worth the price. You can tell the owner and staff are very passionate about what they do and I wish them the best. I’ll be sure to come by again later in the summer to enjoy the patio and some brisket.

RUN DONT WALK! So good! Me and my brother went in for brunch and had such a wonderful experience!! You guys the food was incredible. We ordered the burnt end hash, the chicken and waffles, and cornbread eggs Benny and each one only got better. The flavors and textures of each dish were perfect. Not to mention that Claudia was such a great sever and offered us great advice on the menu! I can’t wait to bring my family here!
