Some of the best General Tsos I’ve had, not the typical generic chunks you get at other other take out places. The Szechuan chicken was more like a soup, had good flavor but was very watery. The egg rolls were average, as were the Crab Rangoon. I requested some of the house made sweet n sour sauce, but only got duck sauce packets in the bag. Overall the food was pretty good and reasonably priced, wish I would have got some of the other sweet n sour sauce to go with the egg rolls and Rangoons. 7/10

We are so happy to have found this little local spot. The food here tastes so clean and comforting. You can really tell they care about their food. Every time my partner comes back from picking up carry out he remarks on how nice they are. I am so grateful for them providing our family with a wonderful option for great Chinese food when we feel like getting take out instead of cooking. This has surely made our family happy many times!

The food is second rate, low quality and full of Celery and not much meat. The pot Stickers taste like the kind you get frozen at Kroger and the Egg Rolls suck.

Always a pleasant experience here. Food is good, the staff and owners awesome! The restaurant itself is really cool and inviting bht it’s been only take out only of late. Definitely recommend this gem of a restaurant (homemade sweet and sour sauce too!)

The House of Cheung is an Indianapolis gem. Absolutely stop at this restaurant (which has been operating since 1979!) before the owners retire. The decor of the place is awesome and has this 70’s feel to it. The food is fantastic. The General Tso’s chicken is seriously the best version I have tasted ever (Chicago, NYC, Hong Kong, etc). The four spice chicken is addictive. The char siu pork and the gong po chicken is fantastic. I also love the fried rice. Great egg rolls. Pass on the potstickers and wor mein. This is really a special, family-owned place and I’m glad to see it’s still around.

Ordered shrimp foo young and crab ragoons. The gravy for egg foo young was watery. The crab ragoons were very light on the filling and no crab.

Smallest portion for high price. The chicken wings look like the movie Honey I shrunk the kids and I asked for boneless spare ribs and they gave me sliced chicken breast on a bed of lettuce. Never ordering from here again. Money wasted.
