Looking for a comfortable local Chinese restaurant where the food is ALWAYS reliable? House of Emperor is hands down the winner. The staff is unbelievably kinds and super sensitive to timing. Always at or not at the table at the right time. Food is always served piping hot. Kid friendly too! Only bummer is they personally don’t deliver past a certain radius area. But it’s still worth the drive if you have to do pickup.

Delicious food. Love the steamed stuffed tofu. My husband loves the Beef gon chow. Our favorite Chinese restaurant

First time ordering from this place and it was disappointing. Even though the fried rice was decent, we ordered a large and it was barely a medium at best. The chicken noodles soup had absolutely ZERO flavor and actually tasted bad. My Husband loves egg drop soup and said it wasn’t that great. What is it with chinese restaurants spiking up their prices and the food is mediocre at best. We’ve had better chinese for a more reasonable price.

Not friendly at the door. 1 person got greeted when 2ofUs came in. Server is the same. We requested low salt (sodium) on our meal because the last time. We got sick. Food looked good. Calamari , smelts. But the taste was very salty still. & the spicy beef tenderloin tasted fake beef and too pricey. Not photo here.

Food was a maze-ing! Great service, lots of choices (almost too hard to choose 🙂 and everything was very yummy. Highly recommend eating here in person for tea, atmosphere, and drinks. Shoutout to the chef that made those delicious egg roles.

The food is good but I think what threw me off was the amount of awards the place has for Best Chinese in the area. Service great and very attentive. We’ll definitely give it another shot.

Second time ordering here. First time was decent, second time was absolutely disgusting. The second time ordering from here I chose a shrimp dish and the shrimp was mushy with a paste like consistency. It was vial. Would not recommend eating here.

Absolutely delicious!!! Nice atmosphere, fresh unlimited oolong tea, and pictured are pad Thai on the left and ma po tofu on the right. I was so excited to see ma po tofu – a lot of places seem to lack more traditional Chinese food, but their menu is SUPER extensive, so you can get the typical takeout classics as well as Chinese cuisine.

My first experience at house of emperor was ever so delightful. Jane my server was a delight! She had such a pleasant, welcoming, and delightful energy! I would return and recommend this delightful, hidden treasure, hole in the wall of a restaurant to all of my delightful pals and gals. Thank you, house of emperor, and Jane, for saving my life.
