Best Chinese food I’ve had this side of town, a couple unique dishes the standard strip mall locations don’t have.

Lunch portions are really big and well priced. The Pho was $14 and the double cooked pork only $10. The vegetables were fresh and delicious. I had the cashew chicken (no pic) and the sweet level was perfect.

This was my first time coming here and as soon as I walked in it was a very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. It was not busy and waitress made frequent trips to ensure we were having our best experience! Food itself was great, hot and fresh. Recommend coming here. 🙂

Excellent fresh flavored food! This family run restaurant strives to provide a healthy flavorful meal in a chic atmosphere. The tradition of cooking from a “Lu” or a flavored broth informs this restaurants non-msg sauces and soups. We’ve been coming for years and they have only gotten better!! Plus decor and service make this feel like a friendly fine dining vibe. Try the coconut shrimp-no one does it better (a lightly sweet and creamy sauce) and the sesame chicken is light and flavorful. Singapore noodles are pungent and fragrant and not too spicy. Just off Marietta Square it’s a lovely place to eat then walk, shop, and visit the Center “Glover Park” with 100 year old oaks, a fountain and gazebo. All together this makes a romantic date or a super meet-up spot for friends.

This is a hidden restaurant near Marietta Square. We have been to Marietta square a million times but did not see this one. This is located behind the Strand theater. We went there on a weekend but the restaurant was not busy even on a Sunday afternoon.

Food was great but the portion size even the dinner menu was tiny. Very small bowl of pepper steak with a normal size amount of rice. And I picked it up so no delivery fee but was still 18 bucks. I asked about the soup and the lady there said no orders that came with any soups. I just wanted to get a bowl and she made me feel stupid for asking about how to get a soup at a Chinese restaurant. But we order delivery from here every week and always get a soup. Won’t be ordering here again. I looked at the menu and they do have soup on their menu.

I love the coconut shrimp here. It’s gluten free which is why we continue to come back when we are near the square. The calamari app is also gf and even though it says it is spicy, it is just salt and pepper seasoning. Love House of Lu and been coming here for 10+ years! During that time the coconut shrimp has remained one of the most delicious dishes and I get it every time and never gotten sick.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food here. The had a nice selection of drinks and my server recommended a pineapple infused vodka martini. It had just the right amount of sweetness and tartness. My son ordered just the plain fried rice which he enjoyed and I had the Zsechun chicken which was made with all white meat chicken stir fried with a number of vegetables. The sauce was pretty spicy but you can always let them know to make it less spicy.

This place has the best Pho! I work within walking distance and eat here when I can. Also the Mango Martini is fabulous and the bar tender was funny.
