House of Xian Dumpling is a no-frills chinese dumpling spot but don’t sleep on their noodle soups. We ordered their potstickers, XLB, and braised beef & tendon noodle soup. Prices are not exorbitant like the rest of the Bay Area too.

Amazing dumplings! I got 6 chicken and 6 vegetable. Orders come in 12 but I asked to split so I could try two different kinds.

This place has fantastic dumplings! We walked in and there was an old lady making a huge tray by hand. My wife’s favorite food are chive shrimp dumplings, so we got an order of that. They were amazing! Taste fresh and authentic. They were so good we got another order to go to eat later. I will say that I was not very impressed with the soup broth. I got the spicy beef soup and I felt it was lacking in flavor. If I come back I would stick to the dumplings. Also, the atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired. Stick to the dumplings!

Place is very small and not fancy…. First impresión you don’t want to eat here…. They are very understaffed… the staff are doing as much as they can. But despite all the cons… dumplings are awesome….I will be back when I know that everything will be slow …

We have made two trips to San Fran and have found our way to this place 4 times….yes…it is that good!! Soup Dumplings are amazing and their hand pulled noodles are to die for. Not the flashiest place but, man they make great food!! Skip the other places and go here!!

Most of us rate an review a place nace on first impressions. I don’t recommend you do that with this place you should rate it based of you hole experience. When we walked in service seemed kind of slow 1 person was doing it all taking orders making food and cooking. We thought things were going to take way too long we placed our orders and things came out one at a time and it was great it allowed us to eat things before they got cold like all other restaurants do. Food was extremely I recommend the wonton soup and the beef noodle soup everything here was good

My girlfriend and I decided to go here when deciding between this and House of Nanking. The prices here were half of what they were at Nanking, so we decided on this place. IT WAS MAGICAL. The braised beef noodle soup is absolutely amazing and I was wishing I was hungrier after finishing the bowl. Will 10000% be returning when coming back to the area.

My family and I visited San Francisco for the first time and we decided to go to Chinatown and this restaurant was so good. Staff was so friendly and no wait time.

I loved our chive and shrimp dumplings so much I ended up ordering some more to go! Each order comes with 12 perfectly steamed pockets of savory deliciousness. We also got the spicy beef soup and spicy seafood soup. Those portions were very large. I felt like I kept eating and the soup never went down. The noodles in the soups had a nice chewy body, and I loved the szechuan peppercorn flavor of the broth. I wish I lived in SF so I could frequent this place.

Best beef chili oil noodles I’ve ever had! Most places the oil is pretty flavorless but this place was flavorful. Got the number 12, braised beef and tendons noodle soup, and a side of chili oil dumplings. Big serving with delicious broth and a lot of meat
