The hype is real. Everything we ordered we absolutely enjoyed. I can’t even say that one was better than the other. In fact, the three of us ended up just sharing everything we ordered because we enjoyed it that much. That includes the drinks as well. The Horchata Latte was creative and delicious. The lemonade and raspberry ice tea tasted home-made and very fresh. The Tuna Salad sandwich, Chicken Pesto and Cali Chicken flatbread were on point. I would say the serving size for the meals were a bit small for the price but still very yummy. The sandwiches were accompanied with chips and a pickle. Definitely a must try. Note: they will bring your food to your table if you are dining in but not your drinks. You have to pick those up at the counter.

Nice coffee place that offers both hot and cold coffees. They have plenty of seating outside and inside. They also have a small breakfast menu along with a variety of baked goods. Will definitely come here again.

I’ve ordered ground coffee from their website before and really enjoyed it, but today I finally made a trip to their Surf City location. I’ve followed them on Instagram for a bit and they constantly encourage people to stop in or spend the day working there. Props to whoever does their social, because that’s what convinced me to make the trip. A lot about LBI has changed over the years, but this felt like a “locals” spot. I made myself at home, setting up my laptop knowing working there was acceptable. For this reason not only did I order coffee/breakfast, I stayed and ordered lunch before finishing my day. The staff was friendly and pleasant, the coffee selection is great, and the food was delicious. I plan to return again more consistently even though it’s a bit of a trip for me. I’d highly recommend stopping at How You Brewin!

We end our LBI trip here with food and coffee for our drive home. They work really hard and are very efficient getting through a massive line and remain in a good mood so having worked in food service, I’m impressed! Coffee and food a great! A must visit if in the area.

Cafe mocha was great. Vanilla waffle was good too but after a while the sweetness was getting to me. Maybe lighter on the waffle sugar is better. It was a very busy morning and the wait was very long. I’m glad that we sat outside due to too much noise inside with all the brewing noise non stop.
